Review: We purchased carpeting on 5/16/13 by the manager of the store [redacted]. Apparently, a few weeks later she had an argument with the owner [redacted] and since that time he took over and does not return our calls. He told us for two weeks that the carpet was on the truck. Then he said that 2 bedroom carpets came in but the stairs and hallway did not. We have waited 5 weeks and have been told anything just to get us off the phone. I took it upon myself to call the carpet mill in Georgia and they gave me the name of the [redacted] (carpet type) representative. His name is [redacted]. He could find no record of an order being place and meantime [redacted] keeps putting us off or won't return our calls, or lets him voicemail on his cell phone fill up so you can not even leave a message. I told him yesterday that we just want a refund of what we paid him which was a $2,414.65 for the down payment. I called him yesterday and said we would be there today for the refund and he agreed and guess what......................His store was closed. He knew we were coming and closed the store. When we went to the store a few weeks ago and he was actually there he wrote on our contract that if the carpet was not installed by July 14th it would be free to us. He did that just to get us out of the store I am sure.Desired Settlement: We just want our money back. Obviously this [redacted] does not know what he is doing and we need to go to a reputable carpet store.

Review: I got an est on 6-3-13 to have my floors refinished. I was told on 5-26-13 and 6-3-13 that it would be about 2 weeks before they get done. I got my estimate by email on 6-10-13. I agreed to the price , said I wanted them to do the work and sent in a check for half of the estimate. On 6-24-13 I haven't heard from anyone so I called the business several times during the day and there was never an answer. I left a voicemail for the owner [redacted] and sent the estimator and the business an email. I have done this from 6-24-13 to today 6-27-13. For four days I have called the business throughout the day and no one ever answers. I have left approx. 4 voice messages for the owner [redacted]. I have sent approx. 4 emails to the business and also the estimator [redacted]. I would like my floors done now or get a refund. I feel like they took my money and I have no way to get in contact with them. Two different people told me the back log was about 2 weeks. I have used this company 4 years ago and I didn't go thru all of this. I would not have even called them if I knew this is what their customer service is like now.Desired Settlement: I would like my floors refinished now or get a refund so I can go with another company. I am moving in a few weeks and I told the estimator that.
