Here is my answer after his statements in italics.
Mr. [redacted] of Patriot Accounting was given a $300.00 deposit to begin accounting services.
Close enough on first sentence.
After 2 questions pertaining to my business tax and reporting ,the questions were not responded...
to.
The agreement was to give him quarterly reports, and prepare his TPTs (sales tax). We were talking about these issues. He was going to do a show in Tucson. He called when he got back and I did not pick that he was upset. I asked him how the show went and then I was told basically OK. No thanks to me.
After 90 days, I asked for my 300.00 deposit back. after 60 days I have yet to receive it. He will not answer or return phone calls and messages.
I said we do have a satisfaction policy and I would get him his money back when I could. I did not keep a dairy on the exact timing on this but in one phone call I let him know I didn’t have the money at that point. When he stopped by the office one day I reiterated that I would get him the money as soon as I could. I added that one reason that I hadn’t returned all his calls was I was waiting until I had something to tell him. (referring to when I would be able to get him his refund) He jumped on me as to what I needed to tell him. I explained what I meant, and he huffed off. I had some issues I was going through and was not able to listen to his calls “yelling” at me. Because of the issues I had my phone turned off some days. There were days when he would call and minutes later he would call again many times. As much as I would like to be able to be above letting this stuff get to me, it had the effect of my ignoring him until I was able to come up with the money, which I was able to do today. I have sent him a money order today. I have attached a copy of the check and the certified mail receipt.
