Review: I called Patelka Dental earlier in the month of August to set up an appointment to get my teeth whitened and my fiances. I noticed on their website that they have a promotion running listed below:
"Schedule a [redacted] Treatment today for only $199. Call us at ###-###-#### to schedule an appointment. New patients only. Expires 08/31/2013."
So I thought that was perfect. I set us both up for an appointment and then today we went into their office and administered what I thought was [redacted]. When we checked in, the women at the front desk mentioned that we were there for our [redacted]! treatments. I went first and after I finished I went straight upstairs to the front desk to pay for myself and my fiance. When I went back down to see how his treatment was going I noticed that the product they were using was actually [redacted] (another teeth whitening tool).
No mention was EVER made to my fiance and I that we were not getting the [redacted]! treatment. When I asked the front desk, they took me to the technician performing the service and he said that the reason they don't use [redacted]! is because the lightbulbs are too expensive. When I told him that was false advertising and that someone should have mentioned it to us he said "It's like how [redacted] is a copying machine and there are other machines, this is just a different brand."
I had researched [redacted]! and that is the service that I wanted, requested, and what Patelka Dental was advertising, but not at all what we received.
[redacted]I have photographic evidence of the advertisement, my receipts and the actual product used.Desired Settlement: I think you are responsible for giving me a FULL refund since I did not receive the services that you advertised. Furthermore, even your front desk told us that we were getting the [redacted]! treatment even though it was really [redacted].
Also you should take down your promotion on your website, [redacted], and the banner that is displaying in front of your office as you no longer apparently offer [redacted].
