Good morning I am responding to the request in lieu of *** as he is out of town and I am most familiar with this situationThe customer reached out to me once the additional damage was noticed by him, at that time I reviewed our estimate of repairs performed as well as photos while it was in our
repair facility and advised the customer that upon my review that none of the issues stated had been addressed on our repairs or on the estimate of repairs performedI advised the customer that if he feels this damage was related to this accident that I could file a supplement for him to try and get the additional damage approved so that he cold get it repaired where he is residing nowHe felt that it was, so I filed the supplement for him and the insurance company that was handling his claim physically went out and inspected the damage and denied coverage as unrelatedAt that time I apologized to Mr*** and informed him that I could not take responsibility for the damage as the area of our repair was to the front of the vehicle and this damage was in the rear of the vehicle and furthermore were not addressed on our repair estimateI also advised him that the shop did not notice this additional damage while it was in our repair facility otherwise we would have loved to repair it for him
