Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: I physically went to The Comptroller office in Towson MDon November 22,to pay $in order for the Comptroller office to remove the Tax lien on all three of my credit reportsI was told by the employee of the State Comptroller department no one was representing meMatt Sittler who is the Senior Tax Analyst [email protected] told me they were not representing me with the state taxes only the federalI also visit in person the Internal Revenue Service Hopkins Plaza Ste BBaltimore Md443-853-Federal Tax building on November 29,I was told by the federal officer how letters were being mailed and sent out certify to my address informing me if I did not respond the tax lien will be placed and at the time I can arraign payment plan to avoid the tax lienI told the IRS employee MAtt and Jafri Yawar and Erika Lopez about them mail I was receiving they told me to fax all documents I am getting from the IRS to their fax number in their office., they will contact the IRSI'm being represented by THE TAX DEFENSE GROUP and I was informed not to get in touch with IRS because they were working on a Forgiveness program and my taxes would be reduced over 75% and a settlement with the IRS will be madeThe Tax Defense Group representative J [redacted] and M [redacted] told me to email and fax all documents and letters I was receiving from The IRS to their email and fax number and do not get in touch with the IRS.I was doing everything The Tax Defense representative was telling me to do I also made sure my payment to The Tax Defense Group was being paid on timeThe Tax Defense will deduct $dollars payment every two weeks from my Wells Fargo account since Feb 2, 2017, so far totaling $2, If the payment was one minute late they called me and ask for them by weekly payment immediate.The IRS employee informed me The Tax Defense Group has three names in the IRS computer system only showing power to give the IRS all my tax informationNo one from the Tax Defense Group was working in my favor or representing me with the outstanding back taxesSo I set up a payment arraignment with the IRS that day to pay all of the back taxesWhen I left the IRS I called and spoke to M [redacted] of the TAX Defense Group and he laid me out saying since I reported them they will not help me or return any of the money I paid themMatt was upset that WELLS Fargo my bank got in touch with them and refund $back to me for the first days only.Wells Fargo said the reason they can be returned days because the contract states they will avoid any tax liens and they were representing my case with the IRSI was informed by Wells Fargo they can only refund me $for days.I would have to recover the rest of the money on my ownWhen I left the IRS I Called Mr [redacted] he starts yelling at me and saying why did I get in touch with WELLS FARGOMatt said he will not do anything to help me with my taxes and will not refund any of the money I paid his company, totaling $ Regards, J [redacted] ***

The individual who filed this complaint hired a separate company ! The Tax Defense Group has never represented this person in any capacityThe documents provided also indicate that this is a separate companyPlease advise our company what else to do The Tax Defense group does not operate as this

The masseuse there just took short cuts and cut down the time from around min to min but still charge the full amountI have been there around times and it was like that exactlyNot very professional But this is nothing comparing with the nextOne day, I received a big bill from them saying the insurance won't pay this amount and it would be from my own pocketIt is more than $and they demanded me pay them in install payments in a monthI said I had other medical expenses need to pay to other doctors so can I do payments insteadThey said no and would send my bill to collections right awayVery rude and does not care about patientsThey are just greedy to get money right with shoddy workDo patients deserve to be sent to collections with just a change to the install payments they demanded? People can not send one big bill one day and ask patients to pay it off in payments in a month otherwise will be with collectionsI have never seen such a doctor befor

Dear Revdex.com & MsG***, We take every step that goes into representing a person with a tax debt very seriouslyWe understand that there are significant pressures and stresses that affect people when you have a debt and are being collected upon by the Internal Revenue ServiceMs
G***'s case was also very serious to us and we took immediate steps to ensure that she was not to pay a penny more then she was required to in addition establishing an arrangement that was manageable through timeThe arrangements that were made with Internal Revenue Service was expedited to resolve the outstanding balance as soon as it was possible to allow MsG*** an opportunity to not worry any further about the potential of garnishment by the IRS. When we received the call from MsG*** she used threats and statements that were laced with profanity and unprofessional toneWe sent the case file directly to her and we again attempted to explain the status of her agreement to repay the balance and she was not able to speak without it becoming hostileOur office respects MsG***'s position but we can't refund fees when they were earnedThis was the BEST resolution that was promised to her in writing upfront... We appreciate the opportunity to share our companies position and policyWe have over pages of documents that we have in relation to the casewe are more then pleased to also provide if need be Thank you

I am rejecting this response because:I am writing this letter in response to the message received from The Tax Defense Group. First and foremost at no point did I ever become frustrated, harbor disdain, or use any social platforms to defame your company. I simply choose not to do business with your company because of the aggressive nature of your company practices and the demand of more money from me for services in order to resolve my situation. I gave you an upfront payment ($400.00) in good faith with the understanding that if you do not perform the services for me I would get said monies refunded. This was quoted to me from  J[redacted] and S[redacted]. Per the FTC Tax Debt Settlement companies cannot charge a fee until the following three conditions have been met. 1. The company must renegotiate, settle, reduce, or otherwise alter the terms of at least one of the consumers debts. 2. The consumer must agree to the settlement or agreement between parties, 3. and the must have made at least one payment as a result of the agreement. Clearly we did not come to an agreement in my case, and secondly there were no services performed by your company on my behalf, no mention of the services and no proof any action of services exist. Your responding message does not include any services you provided, an agreed upon resolution, or results from any services rendered. It seems to be a complimentary account of how indifferent your company is from others that are scamming individuals when in fact this seems like a direct reflect of your company. Additionally, in your response(s) there was no attempt at a resolution of any sort just a "sorry were not a good fit". Based on your description of your company not being a good fit I would like the refund promised to me when J[redacted] said "if we can't help you were not going to keep  your money". Per my conversation with Scott I was made aware that your company works with hundreds of individuals, therefore I am having a hard time understanding why you are putting up such a fight to refund $400.00. This seems like peanuts to the capacity of your company. Therefore I am led to believe that this has become personal for me choosing not to do business with you, or this is a reoccurring scam your company does in order to take a persons hard earned money. I would like a refund of the $400.00 I paid as soon as possible so that we all can discontinue this back and forth commentary.
