Partners in Health & Wellbeing

Hello, I am having difficulty receiving an explanation of charges and believe I have been overcharged for my recent appointments with Partners in Health and Wellbeing, with no explanation.

I have been a client of Partners in Health and Wellbeing since 2018. I stopped going for about a year and returned in November of 2019. Since then, I have visited my therapist 4 times. Most recently on Tuesday, January 21st, I was charged $145.

I was also charged on January 15th for $460.

1) I've called the office twice about the $460 fee. In total, I've paid $705 (460+145) for 4 sessions (Nov 12, 26, Dec 10, Jan 21) which averages to $176.25 per session, when I used to pay $60 per session ($240 total). My therapist took me off the schedule for 12/24 and 1/7 (I typically see my therapist every two weeks).

2) At my appointment on January 21st, my therapist mentioned a sliding scale when health insurance doesn't cover the sessions. Since my health insurance changed since I returned to the company (November 2019),I would like to be considered for a sliding amount vs the full amount for the past 4 sessions. Plus, I would like a detailed receipt for the $460 charge.

3) I have called the company 4 times, left 2 messages, and sent an email. I found out today that the company has been closed / shut down indefinitely since Sunday (3 days ago).

Any help / guidance on resolving these items would be appreciated. Thank you!
