Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I was informed that the bill was what I owed, and not given choice or reason the further tests or what I would be billed for or how many different places they could send the cultures if in fact they did so

The patient was presented to our hospital for an examination and diagnostic procedures on 03/22/ and 03/23/? On 03/23/when the owner picked up the patient he was billed for services performed at the hospital and notified that some tests were being sent to Oregon State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital and their charges would follow once an invoice was received from OSU? and 03/23/2016. On 03/23/2016 when the owner picked up the patient he was billed for services performed at the hospital and notified that some tests were being sent to Oregon State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital and their charges would follow once an invoice was received from OSU. In summary $465.05 was paid to our hospital for services provided by us. The $65.50 in unpaid services was invoiced from OSU for services provided by the diagnostic lab. The delay in billing is from both waiting for OSU to send their charges and that the owner moved without providing a forwarding address. Misunderstandings such as these are unfortunate for both parties involved but usually reasonable settlements can be reached.
