Parkside Apartments

Parkside apartments has refused to return my security deposit. The apartment was left clean and empty. There were no damages.I moved out on Dec.24. My lease was paid thru Dec 31. I gave 30 days notice. I requested my security deposit when I gave notice. They sent a statement on feb.23 stating that I owe them a balance of 215.00 for carpet cleaning, smoke odor treatment, 12 months pet rent, 11 days late key fee and dirty cabnets. I never smoked in the apartment and never agreed to pay pet rent. they carpet was vaccumed and clean and everything was wiped clean. They cannot give me a name,phone number or address of "corporate". They have also listed my security deposit at 500.00 which is inaccurate. According to my lease it is 1,100.00. Living at this property was a nightmare. constant maintenance issues, very difficult to contact office personnel who were generally unhelpful, parking issues and a nonfunctioning laundry just to name a few.
