ParkNow - BMWi and Urban Mobility

Review: I joined www.parknow.com some time prior to February 2013 providing my credit card information as required. I have never been able to log in to my account to get services - never. When I try to do so, the website says that they have no customers with my email address. It is not true that they do not have my email address on file as a customer, because they bombard me with spam. I have emailed them twice to ask for an explanation, but they do not respond. Instead, they continue to send spam. Judging by my experience, I would say their business is solely to acquire people's credit card information. For what purpose, I am alarmed to speculate.

Below is pasted my first email to them, which remained unanswered, as did my second.

I created an account with park-now.com, and when I wanted to use the site, found that my account supposedly did not exist, because I received this error message when I tried to log in:

Email address is unknown. Please verify your input.

I do not appreciate having gone to all the trouble of entering into your web pages my credit card details and my email address - for no benefit whatsoever. I do not consider receiving your spam sufficient recompense.Desired Settlement: I would like to have a full explanation for what looks like obtaining credit card information under false pretenses, and I would like to find out what this company does with all the financial information it gathers. The way they have behaved makes PCI compliance ([redacted]) - which should underwrite businesses of this type - appear completely irrelevant, in the face of utter failure to deliver on any level.

At this time, I have not been contacted by ParkNow - BMWi and Urban Mobility LLC regarding complaint ID [redacted]. Or rather, in spite of the fact that I have repeatedly unsubscribed from their promotional mailings, they have continued to send me those: 9 (nine) in the month of August alone.

I requested them to consider my case based on the situation and reimburse the payment amount. I could not cancel 3 hours before because I was on my way there. This is a scenario where nothing was in my hand. I just called the toll free number and spoke to [redacted] who mentioned that there are no escalations and nothing which can be done. I don't agree to this because there is no fault of mine in the above scenario.ParkNow is denying a reimbursement. It was a service I never availed and I am due a reimbursement.Additionally I had called in on the 07/**/2013 night and the agent on the phone told me that there was a reimbursement consideration process but the agent this morning ([redacted]) disregarded my mention of the option.Desired Settlement: I want my $45 reimbursed.
