This deal has been very frustrating for both parties involved. The customers called from Oregon and told us they would not buy a car from us unless we drove it to them. The customers also stated they were in the car business as finance managers in the past which is why we agreed to meet...
them as a common curiosity to someone in the biz. After they negotiated over the phone for a couple days they purchased a 2008 hummer with a KBB blue book of $34,000 plus. They paid $27,759.32 which is discounted around the 6,000 dollar range. The customers are in the business and know better then any other customer what AS-IS means when they signed a buyers guide. They were offered a vehicle service contract and declined it. What that means is most of... if not all of there concerns they are complaining about would have been covered. If we would have know however the headlight was out we would have had it replaced right away. this must have happened on their way back or when the salesman was driving it down. We would be more the willing to send down a replacement headlight. If there was so much wrong with the SUV they should have not taken delivery. In fact I'm surprised it made down the 300-400 mile trip. Due to the huge discounted rate and multiple disclosers stated and signed the car is sold as is with no implied warranty we feel we have no obligation to discount the SUV any further.
After talking to General Transmission It was not the transmission but a torque converter. We have already called them and told them we were willing to pay half the costs of the repair out of good faith.
I am working very closely with her and I think she will be very pleased with the outcome. I ask her to withdraw her complaint.
We were very sorry to hear about the car wreck. Due to the accident we had to wait for Geico to pay us for the car. This being said the car was still sold and sales tax lic fees still needed to be paid. We worked with her to try and help her get in to another car with 0 down due to the...
unforeseen and Quality Funding said they understood and would help as well. She did not like any of the others cars she qualified for. She was very pleasant to work with and I would be happy to try and find another car for her. Aaron B[redacted]Parkland Auto Center Inc [redacted] Tacoma WA 98444
Please come pick up your car. The ork was done and double checked for which they were paid for.
Mr. [redacted] came down to buy a car on 12/27/2015. He found a car he liked and test drove it. The car has a 7500 Kelly Blue Book. This is why he might think that this is what he paid for it. He actually purchased the car for $5750 plus tax and license. At a...
considerable discount from suggested retail. We were sorry to hear the radiator went out a couple months later. We would never do a simple patch job on a radiator. It is much easier just to order a new one for us and fix it the right way. Mr. [redacted] chose to purchased the Malibu without buying service contract that would have covered this item. Mr. [redacted] waved all rights to implied warranty and we have multiple documents showing this and that the car was purchased as is. We did offer to get the parts for him at our costs.
Everything in this complaint is pretty accurate. What was left out is that when we talked to [redacted] herself on 4/10/2016 the conversation ended with her bringing the 2007 Lexus down to the shop so we could take a second look at the codes which came up. We would never ever knowingly put a car out...
with a bad transmission. I guess I don't understand why she changed her mind the next day and decided to file numerous bad reviews online and not have our techs take a look and help her out. I told her if she wanted to take the bad reviews that she already had up of course I would (out of good faith) help her out. I am not willing to pay another shop to do the work for retail prices when I can get the same work done for wholesale and tax free. So in response my offer still stands if she would like to take down all the bad reviews saying I'm not helping her then she can bring the car down and I will help her out of good faith.
I'm so sorry we were unable to help you find a car. Your offer of $10,500 to buy a car that was on sale for $13,000 will never be accepted here. The prices we have listed are comparable to what other dealers have the same car listed for. That being said a $1,500 discount is unrealistic. We...
tried to show you another car around the $10,500 price range because we wanted to earn your business. We are sorry we were unable to accept your "low ball" offer. Please take a look on our website at the cars listed in the guidelines your bankruptcy trustee allows and we would be more then happy to accommodate your needs. Thank you so much, Parkland Auto Center.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Sincerely, [redacted]
Good morning [redacted], I received your complaint and after careful review would like to speak to you so...
we may clear up any feelings of wrong doing. As far as I can see you were offered a service contract (warranty) which you declined, you also signed paperwork stating the truck came AS-IS. This service contract would have aided you in the cost of towing & repairs. I also never received a call or message from you or I would have had the truck brought to my shop in a timely manner, in fact feel free to call me for any future repairs sir. As far as the cost of plates we have no control over this matter, you also signed paperwork stating the license fee's charged were an estimate and that you would be responsible if we under estimated and we would return any money had we over estimated. As I stated feel free to call me if there is anything I can help you with. As a small business that has been in the community 20 years I feel it is important to not only stand behind the vehicle we sell but in front with any future occurrence good or bad. This customer called down to Parkland Auto Center saying another shop was not doing work for her and was over charging her for other things that didn't need to be done to her car. We told her since she bought the car from us back in 7/11/2015 we would be happy to help her. She had the car towed done...
to the shop. It arrived disassembled. Our technicians fixed the problem she was concerned about. They fixed the timing belt and water pump for her. She then called down to the dealership and wanted the car out on a Saturday. She was explained that they are open Monday- Friday. This was not good enough for her and she became very agitated over the phone. I called the service writer for her and he went down and opened it up for her and she took it. She then showed up 1/19/2016 complaing that it was not fixed.
The new problem with her car is the EGR valve tubing was missing a gasket. This came bent from the previous auto shop she had it at. Between her and her man friend that was with her they were screaming at us like it was our fault. We bent over backwards to help this customer who has been nothing but rude and ungrateful. We just took the car back and went over our work to make sure everything we were paid for is fixed and was done correctly. At this time we no longer would like to do any sort of business with her. AT ALL. Please come pick up your car.
The customers came in to the dealership on Feb 2nd, 2016. They told us they had seen the H2 Hummer on sale for less price then was advertised. We kindly told the customer that Sale ended last month but we would still honor it for them. They offered 14000 dollars for a car priced on last months ad...
price for 15,000. We declined and told them we would still give them the discounted expired ad price from last month. They came back two days later on Feb, 4, 2016 to purchase the SUV.
What the customer is attempting to complain about is the $150 doc fee. They in fact did complain about this in the dealership at the time of the sale during the paperwork process. So we took $150 dollars of the sale price not away from the doc fee because that money is allocated in our system to pay for all the customers files to be safley secured for 7 years. These customers are in fact trying to get 160 more from us or had forgotten that we took it off the sale price for them. I have a extremely good memory and recall the deal very accurately. Parkland Auto Center hopes the customer will look at their paperwork and see the bought the H2 for 14,850 which is exactly 150 dollars less then $15000 and realize they are making a mistake. The H2 was advertised after the month of January for $16,000. The [redacted] family bought the car for 14,850. It was on ad for 15,000 dollars in January.
Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:The dealer did not lower the price of the vehicle to compensate for the bad condition. We negotiated the price based on their wholesale value and my 2006 vehicle wholesale value. I negotiated in good faith taking the salesman's word that their vehicle was in good condition, as was my vehicle. the salesman lied to me about the tires being 65% tread, all the vehicle fluids were filthy and had to be flushed and changed and the most grievous problem was the faulty "Air Suspension Compressor"which any mechanic looking at the dash board and seeing the warning light was lit should have checked. The dealer seems to think that because we were in the car business years ago in the front end, sales and finance, that makes us accomplished mechanics and should have done a complete diagnostic check of all the systems in the parking lot at the cafe that we exchanged cars in Government Camp, OR. That is a patently false argument and the dealer knows that. He sold a faulty car and now he's trying to justify his bad business practices. I'm assuming that is exactly why the Revdex.com exists. to help the consumer guard against unscrupulous business practices. Thank you for you help.[redacted]
