On July 29, *** *** and *** *** came to check in at the front Desk with Roman our Guest Service AgentMrand Mrs*** demanded they received a loyalty letter for a cheaper rate and wanted to apply itRoman explained their particular reservation set in place is through a third
party Expedia/Hotels.com and is a prepaid, nonrefundable, non modifiable reservation through ExpediaRoman proceeded to explain the Loyalty rate could not apply to this reservationStill Mrand Mrs *** demanded the Loyalty rateRoman again explained the only thing he could do is book a separate reservation at the loyalty rate, but could not adjust or modify the prepaid reservation and that they would need to contact Expedia on the payment they already paid outThe couple demanded to have a reservation under the loyalty rate so Roman proceeded to check them in and obtain a method of payment for this new reservationThe next day July 30, the hotel received a call from Expedia asking the circumstancesWe explained the situationlater the same day on the 30th we received a call from unsure if it was Mror Mrs*** asking for a refund on the Loyalty rate as the Expedia reservation was not going to be refundedThe agent at the time did not know the situation, but found out and credited the loyalty rate in the amount $Visa (***) on July 30th, It has been relayed that the credit was done on our sideIf it is not showing on her side we are unawareplease see attachment for proof of credit and dateRuth Martinez, General manager
