They did the same thing to my family. First class criminals. One of their employees stole coins from us to make it worse and we can't get our money or coins back.
If this issue is not resolved as yet, phone Carrigan Anthony, 888-826-2706; Carrigan may help to solve your problem.
I just purchased 1921 silver COINS (hope it's silver dollars, but maybe not). Carrigan did not mention a 20% "coin return." To my knowledge their address is: 173 N Main St, Ste 232, Sayville, NY 11782-2512
(I wasn't told about a UPS Store .. sort of a cell company ya think?) If they are NOT reputable I would be surprised and quite disappointed. I'll have the new arrival checked out in So Cal.
But a total of 42 coins from Park avenue rarities. was told that all the coins were uncirculated and at least ms65 engraved. I sent the coins to NGC to have them graded. It cost me approximately $1,000 to have them graded. All the coins came back circulated in some even came back cleaned. called Park avenue and told them. After a couple of months of haggling with them I finally asked for my money back and requested they refund the money it cost me to have the coins graded. they refunded me the money and I return the coins. They would not refund me the money for having the coins graded. now I am still requesting to have the money refunded from having the coins graded and they are refusing to answer my calls. I have now contacted the attorney general of the state of New York.

I received my 2.5 and 5 dollar gold indian gold pieces March 16 and was concerned about their authenticity and returned them asking for a full refund and sears credit card did credit my account only to have Park Avenue Rarities recharge my credit card on may 24 without my permission in May and denying I ever returned them in the first place When I realized that they had done this I immediately called sears that they had recharged my account and I wasn't due this for 3200 dollars I asked them if they wanted my receipt from the postal service they said not to just yet that they would see what they could do. Meanwhile the time frame is over to dispute my claim and Sears wont do any thing.
This business needs to be shut down. Better to go to your local coin dealer so you can see what you are getting.
This is in regards to a purchase I my or not have make to Part Ave. Rarities located in Sayville NY. When I say may or may not have I just don't remember this purchase. I have been in the hospital three times this year and my memory is a little down now. It will come back but I may never remember a few days after the last time in the hospital. Anyway I have used and bought from this company before. They call me one day with a offer of the life time. They first told me it was a 1911 or 13 $5.00 old coin. I don't buy coins at this price range because of the amount of money. Some way my no was turned to a yes and my Visa card charged. I have never received any official notification that the coin was here. After I saw the charge on the card I do believe I called them and they didn't even ant to talk.
In the first place the coin is over valued and not worth that much money. No I don't know how it was ordered and I can not believe I would have ordered it. I called a friend that grades coins for NGS one of the larger company that grade coin. He told me the coin was way over priced and I also know it not worth it. I have tried to dispute the coin with my bank and haven't had any luck. I wold like to talk to these people and get another coin of the correct value are reduce the coin to what it cost, And I know they have to make a profit. But talking has not worked out and I would like to settle this. Thank You for any help or guidance you could provide. I just want a fair shake and get what I pay for.

Review: I was contacted by phone by someone with Park Avenue Rarities and was given a sales pitch about purchasing some Kennedy half dollars (20 of them) for $495. I was told they were like proofs, un-circulated. I told them I was not at all interested. Two days later, I got the same call again. I finally agreed to purchase them, believing that they would be in excellent, near-proof condition. I was told they were at LEAST worth the $495. When I got them, the condition wasn't that great. I took them to a local coin dealer and he said the whole lot of them wouldn't be worth even $100 because the condition was not near-proof condition. I called Park Avenue Rarities said to return the coins, but that included another sales pitch telling me that coin dealers in Idaho don't know what they're doing (which is untrue - a coin dealer is a coin dealer). I'm really nervous to return them and then have them keep my money.Desired Settlement: I'm going to return these coins in the condition I received them in and I would like an assurance from this business that I will get my full $495 back.

Review: In January 2016 I ordered by phone 1 roll of Ben Franklin Gem proof coin for $600. They have a stated return policy of full refund within 15 days .Before coins arrived I changed my mind and decided to purchase silver eagles instead. I phoned company and they said to return coins and they would send eagles. I returned package of coins un opened but have received nothing although the salesman, John S[redacted] said they sent a package that was lost, then said they would send another one which, of course they did not .My last conversation with them was over a week ago. They never return calls and seldom accept calls.Desired Settlement: Refund of money
