Whether or not $20 is fair price is irrelevant in this situation. He can change his policies and make them known to customers in the future.  But it is unfair to me when the business never mentioned things before and then just make them up as they go. On Tuesday, June 21, at around noon Mr. [redacted] came with his pants to be altered. I took a fitting for him and we agreed that the price was $45. The following day, June 22, he returned to my business, he told me that he would like to pick up his pants because someone else can do it for cheaper. I...

told him that I do not have the pants with me because one of my part-time employees had already taken it home the previous day and I told him that I did not know whether or not she altered it. Then, I called my staff to check on the status of the pants. I had learned that she already took it apart, but I requested that she stop because the customer changed his mind. And I asked my employee to put it back together to its original state. But, it costs money to pay her to put it back together since she had already taken it apart before he requested that he wanted them back. I phoned and left a message to Mr. [redacted] about the situation and explained that if he would like his pants back they would cost him $20 for our services. Then we communicated through text and I told him that I am sorry for the situation that caused this and I also explained that I also have a business to run. The next day about noontime he came to my shop asking for his pants, but I asked him to pay me $20 and pick it up on Friday because I do have a business to run as I explained to him. He said he is not going to pay and that I could just have the pants because they are not worth it. I did not yell at him, nor did I insult him. He insulted me calling me a crook and yelled at me. He also stated that he is going to write a review on Yelp, and complain to Revdex.com, which he did. Once he started yelling at me I asked him to leave because I felt that he was being disruptive to my business. In order to solve this problem, all I ask is that Mr. [redacted] pays me $20 for our services on his pants, which I believe to be a fair resolution.
