This company put out an ad for the July 3-8 on lease deals. We called to speak to a sales person about the deal and were told that was last months deal but they could talk to us about another deal. We told them that their ad clearly states that the deal is still current that it’s from July 3-8 again they said no that misleading that’s from last month. We told them we have screen shots from their website clearing starting the current dates. We ended the call and 2 more people continued to call us and talk about this and try to work out a deal and it proceeded that the man told us not to call them anymore that’s not the deal and it’s just misleading. We told him we only called once and to stop harassing us.
We are sorry about your experience. From what I understand you did speak with a sales manager. I don't know all the particulars about your deal was but if you meet the qualifications of any add we are here to honor it.
Horrible purchase experience inclusive of an almost 3 hour wait to simply sign paperwork and pickup a vehicle. I turned in a 2016 Suburban and leased a new 2018 Suburban in 11/2018. Wrote a check for $3400+ and was told that this fee included payments for new vehicle and ALL final payments for vehicle that was being turned in. Through a credit monitoring service, I have come to learn that GM is claiming I am late on a $96 bill. I NEVER received a bill and the charge is now showing as a 90+ day late on my credit report. Due to GM's error, my credit score has dropped from ~ 820 to 665! Int 25+ years of credit, it is the only late payment that I have ever had and has ruined my credit score. I was attempting to take out credit for a large furniture purchase recently and was unable to secure the preferred credit status due to my "new score." After spending hours on the phone with GM Finance, I have come to learn that this mystery charge should ahve never been mine - it is a wholesale fee that the dealership is responsible for. I have attempted to resolve this with the dealership and the GM has not been responsive. He contacted me upon my initial complaint and has been out of touch ever since (2 weeks ago). I demand that this erroneous charge be removed and my credit report be corrected immediately.
This is a GM Financial issue in which we are working to resolve. Complaint should be directed at them.

I am rejecting this response because it is misleading and a categorically false statement. The GM dealership wants to blame some other GM finance entity for their error. Any error that is linked to the return of a previously leased vehicle and outstanding payment was handled directly by the dealership. I turned in the vehicle to Paramus Chevrolet and wrote them a "final check." The Paramus Chevrolet salesperson stated, and subsequently clarified in great detail, that the check I had given him was an absolute final payment and nothing further was required.
Additionally, Paramus Chevrolet has a representative GM Finance arm right within their dealership. We met with the individual and signed all of the required paperwork for the lease of our new vehicle. So, to simply "pass the buck" and not claim any responsibility for damaging a client further proves that this dealership really could care less about ever putting the customer first. Their response is completely unacceptable and quite frankly and embarrassing representation of their ability to resolve an issue that they caused.
Furthermore, as GM finance has told me numerous times, the charge that has harmed my credit standing in a potentially irreparable way stems from a wholesale charge that the dealership was to handle directly.

GMF has informed us that the credit was issued and the appropriate action taken to address credit reporting. In addition they agreed to make a payment on behalf of Mr. for his inconvenience.
We agreed on a price of $57,500.00 for a used vehicle. Unbeknownst to me the dealership added $427.32 to the sales price. When I discovered this underhanded practice I confronted the fiance manager via email. He responded saying it was a fee for aftermarket etching. I neither requested this service nor authorized it. I WAS NOT TOLD I WAS PAYING FOR THIS SERVICE YET IT WAS SECRETLY ROLLED INTO MY PAYMENT. It is an extremely unseemly practice. I did not even know the cost existed until I got home and was reviewing the paperwork. A few days later I received a check in the mail for $39.00 from the dealership. I'm not sure what the purpose of this check was. I did not agree to this amount and I did not cash the check.
We can absolutely cancel the etch insurance and refund amount of $427.32. Because the amount was financed the check will go to the bank and reduce the outstanding balance. It will not change the monthly payment but shorten the term by that amount. The check for $39.00 was for overpayment of Motor Vehicle fees.

On July 2018 , I purchased a Chevrolet Avalanche from Paramus rt 17 north. The vehicle wasn't covered, so I purchased gap insurance .The price of the vehicle was over $25,000 plus taxes and fees. Twenty-four hours after bringing home the vehicle, I almost fell out of the driver side door because the handle of the door was broken . I called the dealer to notify them of the issue but I get the run around for two weeks. As a result, I went in the store July 27 to speak to the sales manager Will. He was very rude and disrespectful and accused me of breaking the door. I cancelled the gap insurance and ask for a refund. Will told me there was no one in the office to take care of it and that I should give him a day or two. I called Will but nothing happened. I called my card company to claim their amount of the money. $900 in cash is still not refunded and was not taken off the balance. I am asking for your assistance, to get my $900 refund for the remaining balance of the gap insurance from Paramus Chevrolet. Thank you.
and *** purchased a vehicle from us in July of 2018. They left a deposit and a payment on an *** card and finance the balance. The door was repaired as soon as part was available along with other items that needed to be addressed. They subsequent stopped payment on the *** transactions and fraudulently maid claimeseagianst the dealership. They are also in violation of the finance contract as approval was predicated on the down payment. A claim for $2,923.91 has been submitted to collection and since they have not responded to demand for repayment we will be notifying the bank and seeking criminal restitution for their fraudulently canceling of payments and apparent credit card fraud.
Attached you will find *** chargebacks.

I want this dealership to cease and desist. They keep sending me ignoring mailings every week clogging my mailbox about a car that was declared total loss in 2012 by Hurricane Sandy. I have written asking them to stop, however they pay me no mind.
Name has been removed from our mailing list.Customer may receive notices form GM, we have no control over.

I was shown one car a Chevy Equinox Premiere trim level, to which the salesperson (Darcy) explained because the car I was interested in they didn't have on the lot . I was promised certain trim level with options that I wanted in the vehicle. I was asked to leave a "deposit" because they had to "order" the car and the car would be transferred to the dealership from Newark NJ. This occurred on 12/29/2017. I wrote out a check and then was told that they didn't accept checks for deposits, I would have to leave a credit card. I paid $1500 with cc. Was promised the car on Monday or Tuesday the following week. Tuesday came and the same salesman told me that there was a mistake the car actually had to be ordered and was coming from Detroit, MI and he didn't know how long it would take. I finally received a call on Thursday 1/11/2018 stating the truck was ready for delivery. I made and appointment for the following night 1/12/2018 at 6pm. My girlfriend, son and I arrived at the dealership. We were made to wait until nearly the dealership closing, it was also raining and dark by then. We did a rush inspection with us and when I asked about the options the salesman stated they were all there. We were lead to the finance guy Junior who began to go thru the contracts of the lease electronically first thing I notice was the dates were wrong, they had put the date as 12/29/2017 as me accepting the car. I stopped Junior from preceding the dates were wrong. He quickly apologized and swiped clear the electronic contracts, and replaced them electronically using his computer with the correct dates or 1/12/2018 with the first payment due 2/28/2018, but then changed the date to 3/1/2018. I wasn't afford a printed copy of the lease agreement that I signed, I was only given a thumb drive (which I found out later the drive was corrupt and was riddled with virus). I rec'd a bill from GM Financial on 2/9 with a due 1/29/18. The car isn't what I ordered also and is wro
Mr. was shown a vehicle and was told the vehicle he was shown was a premiere and the one he was interested was not in stock. We go by what we have on a written buyers order, and the order clearly states he was leasing a 2018 Chevy Equinox LT, not a premiere edition. There is nothing indicating the claim.

I am rejecting this response because:
The dealership has yet again failed to take responsibility regarding there own staff, and the lies. There was no mention of the switched electronic contracts and dates, no mention as to the Car Fax which clearly shows that I was lied to and the car was on the lot all along, there was no mention of giving me the wrong trim level of a vehicle, there is no paper contract since it was given to me on a thumb drive which was corrupt and full of virus's and could not be open, GM says deal with the dealership, how can you deal with criminals? There is an easy solution or remedy but again they refuse to correct the problem. I have three witness's and phone recording's. It's time Paramus Chevy takes responsibility and corrects this matter. Buyer beware! Time to file complaints with the Division of Consumer Affairs. I will not let this happen to other unsuspecting people, and I want justice or give me the car which was promised to me. Why would I hand in a vehicle which was loaded and take a lesser valued, lesser trim level for the same lease payment? It's affecting my credit and I have been more than patient regarding my situation.

Again, I have reviewed the paperwork and everything is in line as far as paperwork, signatures and documents.
On December 28,2017 I went to the Paramus Chevrolet dealer and was attended by Mr. Courtney W reason to be there was to get a vehicle that was being adverticed both on tv and internet on a lease program of zero down zero percent security deposite at signing and zero first month payment on a Equinox 2018 model. Vin:***. Mr. proceded to show me the vehicle at hand and described all the features that it had and it would come with at time of the deal Which is great for a sales consultant. But I was more interested in the break down on how I was going to be given this vehicle for the adverticed price of only 96.00 amonth little to my surprise it was a false. The advertisement did not state that you needed to have a second lease car in your house hold so that I can qualify for this deal not only it is intraptment but a sceme to lure in the public to scam and trap them into a deal that will benift the dealer I know they have to make money but when they ask for a down payment up front it should ring a bell that the addverticement said zero down zero at signing also. I was not happy at all that for a first time person to lease a car or suv to go through loops and bounds of intrapment of false advertisement. If I would have a second vehicle on a lease it would be that company that would have my buissnes and not go out to look for another one to give me the run around of giving a down payment when they offer to the public a zero down zero at signing zero first month at singing.
I reviewed applicable TV ad and internet offer and both clearly state rules of the GM offer that includes use of available incentives based on competitive lease ownership. Disclaimer is accurate and follows the NJ State advertising guidelines.

I am rejecting this response because: You are saying that I need to have a leased car in my house hold in order to get a lease from this dealership and that it is in the small print of the ad wow lets make america great again and buy a toyota or any other in port from over sea.

Purchase a vehicle Chevrolet Malibu and within 6 months decided to trade in the vehicle. (The extended warranty purchased was $4000 which included low profile tires, key fob and maintenance). In April 2017 decided to trade in vehicle to purchase 2014 Chevrolet Equinox, lost money on trade in value which I accepted. When speaking with finance person Will D I was eligible for a refund of $1,500.00 on my extended warranty since the new vehicle did not have low profile tires or need the key fobs. The other $2,500.00 was transferred to the new vehicle (2014 Equinox). Mr. stated it will take 6 - 8 weeks to get the refund of $1500.00 in the form of a check mailed to my home. I followed up with a phone call to Will D (*** ext *** 4 times within the last 6 months and each time he was escalating to his boss Robert D the Finance Manager. Spoke to Mr. today 12/5/2017 and he is now just looking into my vehicle deal. Its poor customer service and I'm still waiting for the $1500.00 refund that I am eligible for on the trade in deal.
Customer cancelled two extended contracts. Refunds were processed and the customer was sent checks for $247.58 and $603.00 per the insurance companies cancellation calculation.
I leased a car for 24 months 12,000 miles a year monthly payment $173.00
Not paying attention at closing I signed a contract for 10,000 miles a year and not till I was filing paper work approximately 60 days later did I discover my mistake .I called my salesman who has no memory or records of what was agreed upon and I was to honor contract signed . I do understand I in error signed something that was incorrect and it is my fault but being a GM customer for 32 years why would I make up a story .Unfortunately I contacted GM of which they stood with the dealer and said they have a signed contract agreeing to 10,000 miles a year which they do have .My question is why no records of the original deal when I agreed and gave them a deposit and was it done intent and if I didn't catch it at the closing it was to their benefit .Let there be no doubt it was my mistake but the principal is why they have no records of the First Deposit of $500 and what was agreed upon
Customer signed three separate documents evidencing payment of $173 per month for 24 months with 10,000 miles per year.

I am rejecting this response because: I acknowledge that I signed the documents on the fancy new desk top screen and as stated I was with my daughter and not paying att because I didn't suspect anything my point is why no one has a record of what was agreed upon and why would I fabricate a story .Unfortunately when speaking with GM they took the same response I signed the contract so to bad .To me its the principal and if I have no other course of action lesson learned let the buyer beware as stated to GM I have been a customer since 1985 which made no difference so maybe it goes to the newspaper to do and editorial and see what public opinion has to say about the dealings with the dealership in the past
Thank you for your help

My permanent plates never arrived after THREE MONTHS. I had to contact your dealership multiple times without any communication on their end. Every time I was told someone would call me back no one ever did except for a sales associate names Brent who was nothing but polite and respectful. Eventually the receptionist put me in contact with Bill. I have to say I have never seen someone so irresponsible in my life. He continues to apologize for dropping the ball without ever doing anything to fix the issues. He told me himself that he would call the bank and take over this case to help me get my permanent plates only to pass the job off to some clerk at this location. He even verbally said “this is my error I will fix it”. He agreed with me that the clerk should not have been handling this case but yet continues to pass his workload onto other. Someone needs to hold him accountable for this severe level of neglect and poor customer service. This man is coasting by collecting checks for work he isn't doing and allowing your valuable customers that make or break your business to be treated so disrespectfully. He doesn’t have the competence required for an entry level intern. His communication skills are that of a five year old. It has been over three months. THREE MONTHS that I have had to call your dealership. Was told I would get a call back or even simply communication. I am tired of giving Bill *** chances only for him to continuously fail.
I am sick of the excuses, the lies, and the level of disrespect. All I want are results. I have done everything on my end that I need to do. I have been more than patient, and understanding. This has gone past that point. This is absolutely disgraceful. I have purchased many Chevy vehicles and always loved the quality and customer service associated with Chevy. At this point I'm ready to return the vehicle and never look at Chevy again. No one is holding this dealership or this man accountable for any of his actions.
Plates and registration were sent to customer on August 7. Delay was the result of a lien release paperwork held-up by ***.
