Review: Paramount paving was hired to seal a parking lot at a condominium complex I manage.
At the same time speed bumps were ordered and paid in full to Paramount paving...the speed bumps never arrived and Paramount has not refunded the money.
A deposit of $1500 was also given to Paramount paving to further repairs to the parking lot...these repairs have not been done.
A receipt for the speed bumps has been requested several time but has not been provided.Desired Settlement: I am asking for a refund of the money spend on the speed bumps of $1902.28
I am also asking for the refund of the deposit given for the additional repairs $1500.0
a total refund of 3402.28
Review: On 9/15/2014, Michael B[redacted], owner of Paramount Paving in [redacted], CT agreed to pave our driveway and include a finished curb/edge. We paid him a $3750 deposit on 9/15/2015. In the estimate, he anticipated the project would take 1-3 day. On 10/7/2014, we paid an additional $1000 towards an additional $2250 fee for removing ledge from the driveway. We paid a total of $9750 for the driveway but Mr. B[redacted] failed to install the curbing for the length of the driveway. He verbally promised to complete the curb in a timely manner. He also said he would re-seed the portion of our lawn destroyed by the driveway construction. He failed to do this in October , 2014 and promised to get back to us in the spring of 2015 . I had to track him down because his phone number has changed to ###-###-####. I have called him 7 times on the following dates: 4/8/15,8/24/15,9/18/15,9/21/15,9/27/15,9/28/15,and 10/4/15. He has never returned any phone messages and it is now October 4, 2015, a year from the original start date. We are extremely frustrated and disappointed with this contractors lack of business ethics.Desired Settlement: 1. Explanation from Mr. B[redacted] on why he has not completed the job.
2. Complete the job
3. If neither #1 or #2 are addressed by Mr. B[redacted], we want $500 back ( the amount he verbally estimated the curbing would cost).
