in response to rejectionwe do not understand why the frustration is with usthe property was being pavedthe property manager was on site while work was performedthe property was postedall owners were notifiedalmost all owners compliedthe property manager contacted police department and we were dispatched being the duty wrecker of the weekthe property manager had vehicle removed according to town ordinancewe were dispatched and followed proper protocolthe vehicle owner being law enforcement commissioner should understand this protocolwe do not act with impunity but follow direction of the townshipall fees and actions were done in line with township and ordinanceall disputes lie between the property manager and owner of vehicle

I am rejecting this response because:there in fact were no signs posted as it had been established in the past, and my vehicle had a tag indicating it was legally parkedAnd since I am semi retired, they could have come to the apartment and requested that I move the vehicle.above and beyond that these folks act like some sort of Gestapo when I asked to see my vehicle so as to make sure it had not been damaged they refused and told me I had to pay the bill and in cash before before I could see my vehicle in essence holding my property hostage until I paid the ransom I am a law abiding citizen and am accustomed to taking responsibility for my actionsI am also an member of the commission of human relations for the State of Illinois and an Law Enforcement Commissioner, these folks believe they can act with empunity

unfortunately the vehicle owner disreguarded signs and warnings posted about parking lot pavingthe building management had vehicle removed according to town ordinancewe feel bad for the situation but 99% of the building complied with the buildings warningthis is an issue between the vehicle
owner and the building management and nothing to do with uswe only complied with town ordinancethe building management specifically had vehicle removed, we did not just take it without proper authorization and requestour fees are set by the town and we followed accordinglypeople need to take accountability for their mistakes or ignorance and not blame others
