RE: Complaint ID ***I am in receipt of the complaint filed by the seller of *** *** **Hastings, NYThe property is amobile home and in New York title to the property is registered with the Department of Motor Vehicles.The reason for this is due to the fact that by the nature of the
structure if the mortgagor defaults on themortgage technically the structure could be moved and the lender would only be able to foreclose onthe land.The seller states that we told them for months that DMV title was not requiredThis is not accurateWedid not include this in our commitment letter as it is not a credit issue and the assumption was they hadpreviously filed the title properlyUnfortunately it was not discovered until the final title review prior toclosingWe regret that this has caused our costumer and the seller to delay their closingHowever, wemust make sure that the tile is accurately registered.Sincerely,Timothy W***President
