Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/07/06) */
The patient's parents insisted on the hospital setting for the procedureThe fee is not a "deposit"It is clearly worded in the form they signed (included without signatureMy staff devoted a lot of time to the process of authorizing the
procedure through their insurance(notes included)Unfortunately, their insurance policy denied coverageThe time spent on the phone and tracking down a response with insurance companies is enormousThis is the reason for the fee and it is clearly described on the form that they signedMy staff was clearly in communication with themSince the time of their insurance refusal they have slandered me in public media and have used my name though I cannot use theirs
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 12, 2016/07/29) */
Nothing was resolvedI still did not receive a refundThe receptionist explained I was giving a *** deposit to make sure I didn't cancel the operating room once it was scheduledAn operating room was NEVER scheduledAn explanation of benefits was sent to my insurance, which they denied the operating room procedureSo no operating room was never scheduledNo work was ever done on my child's teethTaking *** for just sending an email to my insurance is insane!!
Dr*** responded with saying I insisted on a operating room for this procedure? Which is absurd! Why would I want to place my year old child under anesthesia unless a professional insisted on it?! Which Dr*** stated, when he told us, "He couldn't do the procedure in his office due to my child's age."
Dr*** is saying I slandered his name on social media?! I simply filled out an online review stating the TRUTHTaking *** for working on a child's teethand he never touched his mouthIf he did not like the truth that was statedhe should probably stop stealing money from hard working families
Final Business Response /* (4000, 14, 2016/07/31) */
This is the same complaint that was submitted originallyThe fee was not a depositThe form he signed clearly states that it is for the work required to get the hospital, the schedules and their insurance approved (or find that it is denied)No one can do that work for freeInsurance companies will cause our staff to spend hours on the phone and on follto get an approval (or denial)This patient has done nothing to negotiate with my officeThey have only smeared us everywhere they could find the opportunity
