We are a military family and new to the area and did not do the proper research for reviews regarding this business. The pool that was put in was beautiful. However, the concrete has broken off the one corner and it took two months to fix and lots of phone calls saying that someone would call me back. I even went in person twice. My pool is currently not running and once again no one seems to care. A company should provide good customer service and back up their product. This business just wants your money and once they have it, they do not care what happens after that.

Paradise Pool and Spa did fix my repairs. They completed in the manner that was satisfying to our needs. Thank you for taking the time and effort to see that it got done. You build beautiful pools and I would recommend you to any body out there.

I hired this company to install an above-ground pool. Nothing went right! The day of installation they started to put the wrong liner in the pool...luckily I saw them and told them to stop because it was the wrong liner. Installation was delayed while they scrambled to find the liner I had ordered in the beginning. Then, when my electrical work was completed, the pool equipment did not work correctly because they failed to instruct me as to how I needed to prime the pump, etc. But, the biggest problem of all is their customer service. I reported to the owner that the pool liner has some significant wrinkles on the bottom of the pool. I called THREE times regarding this problem. He told me he would send someone out to check the liner for me...but he lied, not once, but twice because nobody ever came. He had absolutely no intention of sending someone to my home. He could have cared less about the liner installation or about my satisfaction and acted like I didn't know what I was talking about. I've had experience with pools prior to this experience so I DO know what I'm talking about! He tried to minimize the issue. Very condescending attitude. Would not recommend them to anyone looking for quality pool installation and great customer service. If you have a problem with something they've done, forget about it because they are not going to help you with it!

Review: I hired Paradise Pool to build a new 20'x40' swimming pool 3 years ago. The entire process was a nightmare, but the job was completed. I purchased the best pool liner this company offered and now three years later, I need a new liner and the floor of the pool needs completely redone. I have had four different companies come out to bid the job and they all say the same thing.... The liner and the floor were not done correctly!

I contacted the owner of Paradise, and was told he couldn't even look at the job for two weeks!! He also gave me some run around about water getting under the pool...

I paid this company $30,000+ for a pool and liner that should last at least 10-15 years .

I have hired a different company to fix this problem, because I have NO interest in Paradise returning to my house.

It is costing me another $6000 to fix their terrible workmanship.

They offered no discount or compensation, and the man that fields their phone calls is rude and dismissive!!!Desired Settlement: I have hired a different company to fix my pool because I do not trust Paradise to do the job correctly.

I would like them to help pay for these repairs!

Paradise Pools and Spas ID# [redacted] Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this recent complaint for a job that was done 3 years ago. I state it that way for a reason. Here at Paradise Pools and Spas we have a policy most other companies cannot follow. When a "big ticket' item is sold, such as a Pool or Spa, a small deposit is taken and the balance is paid on completion of project and the satisfaction of the customer. In the Case of an in ground swimming pool, that deposit is always $1000. The remaining balance paid at completion and satisfaction. Leaving the customer in complete control of their money until the pool is how we agreed. As stated by this customer, she paid in full over $30,000.00 for her swimming pool. Meaning over $29,000.00 was held by her until she was satisfied with the workmanship at the time of installation 3 years ago. I feel any company in construction will agree, there are ups and downs to all construction projects but the bottom line is that the customer is satisfied when completed. This customer was or why pay the outstanding balance at that time. The floor was done correctly, or why pay the balance. [redacted], An independent company with no affiliation to Paradise Pools and Spas inspected the issues at this Pool and found there to be holes in liner along with wrinkles in the liner. Holes and Wrinkles that occurred obviously after completion. Or the balance would not have been paid. There is no way, as a company, to prevent what customers may have go into their own pools that may damage the liner over the life of the pool. Paradise Pools and Spas cannot be held responsible for the holes. As far as wrinkles. Wrinkles after installation are caused by water under the liner. The water makes the liner float and when it settles a wrinkle appears. That water may be from the pool, or possibly from ground water. The latter would be understandable considering the rain we've had this year in our area. This water under the liner also soaks the grout floor of the pool causing it to breakdown and appear to not have been installed correctly. This would be noticeable upon the completion three years ago if it existed then. It is understandable this customer is upset with what happened with her pool but we here at Paradise Pools see no way how we would be responsible three years after she was satisfied with completion. It is also unfortunate that we could not look as fast as she needed. Two weeks is about how our schedule runs with calls in service during our busiest time of the year.
