The amount you paid was correct The additional funds were due to late fees added When you make a payment it is always posted to the oldest balance first You do not have the ability to specific where your payment goes Your lease contract states all payments are applied to the oldest balance which will cause late fees if rent is left un paid

Per the lease agreement, residents are 100% responsible for all bed bug costs. Regardless of how or when you report it, the resident is responsible. The Bed Bug Addendum states all payments are to be made within hours, and failure to make this payment will cause late fees and/or
eviction. We have been generous but will proceed immediately to eviction should you not pay your balance in full

I am rejecting this response because:
1. I rented [redacted]. The landlord was [redacted] based in [redacted], [redacted] and represented in Texas by [redacted] located at [redacted]. The  apartment complex called [redacted] located at [redacted] has been managed, by [redacted] and now by [redacted]-Ms. [redacted]'s employer- . When I filed my complaint before Revdex.com, it was based on the fact that the landlord refused to give me a written acknowledgement of my 60-day Move Out Notice, and to authorize me to park a moving truck, and set up day and time to perform the an apartment inspection in my presence. [redacted] employees [redacted] and [redacted] refused to sign or have signed by the manager the aforementioned letter, threatened with towing the moving truck, and refused to set up the apartment walk-through . Ms. [redacted] is a new manager, and, indeed she send me the letter attached to her response. However, the landlord's refusal to observe the Apartment Lease Contract made me waste time and money consulting with attorneys, sending certified letters, and having a person monitor my apartment, because I feared that maintenance would enter with the duplicated keys and steal my personal papers, hack my computer, or place contraband in my apartment. Additionally, the mentioned [redacted] employees told me may times that I had to sign a blank Apartment Lease Contract, because that was "company's policy". I refused to sign such documents, first, because I wasn't planning to renew the lease, and I it was clear that they wanted to have an unexpired new lease, in order to charge me fines and penalties in case I moved out. The way [redacted] does business is abusive and illegal. They are used to muscle people into agreements they don't even understand. [redacted] takes advantage of Mexican immigrants who doesn't speak English or even read and write in Spanish.
2. I find Ms. [redacted] innocent of the described facts; however, I must reiterate that [redacted], as an organization, has poor customer service and engages in abusive, discriminatory, and illegal practices while doing business in Texas. As you see on the attached letters, I had to sent certified letters, in order to get some action from [redacted].
3. Finally, after I moved out, [redacted] mailed me a document stating that I still owed rent. Ms. Victoria sustains that it was just an error. nevertheless, I had to again spend time and money sending certified letters to get things cleared.
