I am Writing to request relief as outlined in that statute.The first Week of May 2013, a call was made to Paraco Gas Co in Hopedale MA, requesting the removal of the propane tank at our property. It was also requested that we be reimbursed for the gas remaining in the tank. At that time the representative of the company answering the phone stated that they would charge an [redacted] fee to remove the gas from the tank and that another fee would be attached for picking up their own tank. They would pick it up on the following Friday. The first week of June, another call was made strongly stating that we had previously terminated their services requesting the removal of their tank from our premises. It was also stated that they remove the tank immediately because we couldn't utilize our pool Jacuzzi until they removed the tank. Ten weeks later the propane tank still sits in our yard and Paraco Gas Co hasn't acted on our request.Due to their disregard for our request we have suffered the loss of use of our Jacuzzi for the better part of the season. We would request the full reimbursement for the gas in the propane tank which we ready paid for and free removal of their tank ASAP.If this is not done in an expedient manner, this letter serves as our request for the following relief of [redacted] for loss of use of the Jacuzzi under provision of Section 9 ­Chapter 93A, I am providing you With the opportunity to make a writtenoffer of settlement of this claim within 50 days.[redacted] & [redacted] XXXXXX XXX XXX XXXXDesired SettlementIf this is not done in an expedient manner, this letter serves as our request for the following relief of [redacted] for loss of use of the Jacuzzi under provision of Section 9 ­Chapter 93A, I am providing you With the opportunity to make a writtenoffer of settlement of this claim within 50 days.[redacted] & [redacted] XXXXXX XXX XXX XXXXBusiness' Initial Response Our standard process is to pickup a tank owned by Paraco Gas within 3-4 weeks of a customer canceling service. In this case we dropped the ball. We did pickup tank and there were 36.9 gallons was removed from the tank and a total refund [redacted] Normally a restocking fee is charged of [redacted] plus tax, which was originally indicated to the customer. We will waive that fee in this instance based on our lack of normal customer service. A refund check of the total gas refund will be issued for [redacted] of [redacted]Paraco Gas Corp.
