Review: Purchased gift certificate for wife in January 2013; $175 + tax = $182.88; expiration is one year from purchase. Wife works for NYC Board of Ed and had baby in August 2012, so wanted to use gift certificate over summer 2013, a few months after purchase. When wife went to book appointment, spa, who NEVER picks up the phone and needs to be called over and over again to make contact, told her they changed their hours to ONLY weekdays. We live in Washington Heights. Spa is very far downtown. No way is wife ever making an appointment Monday through Friday; she works full time, and it will simply never happen. Gift certificate purchased with intention of using it on weekends…The spa was open weekends when gift certificate was purchased. Continually tried to contact spa to no avail; they do not pick up phone or respond to messages or emails.

Called spa 11/**. Was told by Colleen that they would issue a full refund within 48 hours. No refund issued. Called again on 11/**, 11/**, 11/**, 11/**and 12/**...Either leave a message to which no one ever responds or get Colleen on the phone who continually alleges that full refund will be issued. Have called at least 6 times today (12/**), and spa is supposed to be open. No one picks up and no one responds to messages. All I want is the refund of $182.88 that they promised over and over again.Desired Settlement: Issue full refund as promised 5 or more times since 11/**/13.
