Review: I live In Hong Kong, and I sent an antique amplifier to my trusted technician for servicing back in 2009. My technician who locates in Las Vegas and his company called [redacted] Audio Company has stripped down my antique amplifier named Pilot SA-260 for servicing and restoration. My technician only handle the electrical section of the amplifier but not cosmetically refurbishing. [redacted] has sent the chassis of the Pilot SA-260 to Par-Metal for chassis refurbishment. The owner of Par-Metal, [redacted], is handle the work for me and he told me the chassis has been done 7 months after he received the chassis but the silk screen will take him times sit down and work on it. So I called him by the mid of 2010, he postpone for the same reason by claiming that too busy. Then I kept calling [redacted] for the same matter few time for last several years and his response is remained the same: Im busy at this moment.Ive sent him few emails in 2013 and no response from him at all. Until last week, I received an email response about my sample chassis along with my order has been lost in the fire early last year (2013) and he is failed to notified me. Mine is an antique amplifier, the value is totally lost if the chassis doesnt look like the original with the stock chassis. And they refused to compensate at a fair amount for my lost. The market value of this amplifier costs USD900.[redacted]-pilot_sa260_restored_tube_amp/Im not a greedy person, he can buy an used amplifier and stripped down and send me the chassis and tube cage and he kept all remaining parts as he has insurance coverage but I dont!!. Im not the person to suffer the lost due to his postpone on the job. If he can complete and send me the chassis earlier, I dont have to suffer the lost at all! The first message he respond is unwilling to make any compensation for my complain of this event. Then he gives me an offer for 200 dollars after I keep asking. I wish you can resolve this matter.Desired Settlement: Im not a greedy person, he can buy an used amplifier and stripped down and send me the chassis and tube cage and he kept all remaining parts.
