Hello this information is incorrect I never called to set up the appointment my wife called and setup the appointment and gave the rep all the infirnation. My wife call because she works for Aetna and knew that if an authoration wasn't done this would be a problem. I don't understand why they are lieing about this. My wife makes sure she call because she sees this happen to a lot of people. Also they call and told us everything was approved before I went. They never told me my workers comp denied. They said everthing was approved. I have several test done at paps and they have contacted my Aetna in the past because they told my wife every time she calls they will use Aetna as a backup if workers comp denies. They forget to do it and is now holding me responsible for their mistake I wouldnt never had this MRI done knowing it was not approved. This is unfair.

Regards,
Tell us why here... A phone call was made to the patient and the issue at hand was resloved. The payment in question ($40.70) is now posted to the patinet's account. As a result, the balance due from the patient is zero. It was explained to the patient that an error was made...
resulting in the payment of $40.70 not being posted to the account. As stated, this was corrected and a statement was mailed to the patient stating as such. The patient was well satisfied with the outcome.

Review: I went to get some imaging work done by papastaros at the limestone facility. my injury was due to a work related accident and I supplied the necessary workers comp information. As a result of this visit, I have had repeated notices from collection agencies. I have attempted to contact papastravos and explain to them that this was covered under my workers comp, to no avail. They are expecting me to pay for something that was clearly the responsibility of my active workers comp claim.Desired Settlement: I wish for this debt to be eliminated and my credit report be corrected so that this is not shown.
Review: On the referral of my dentist, I made an appointment and went in for an oral CT scan at Papastavros located in Glasgow on February 11, 2014. Knowing how medical bills can get very expensive, I always make it a point to get an estimate of what the costs would be, before receiving any health related service. I talked to the lady at the front desk on the day of my appointment to tell me what I would be paying for the scan before filling in the medical office forms. She asked me for my insurance and had my wait while she ran it for an estimate. After a few minutes she told me my out of pocket payment is only $25 and asked how I was willing to pay. Though excited I again asked her if that would be all I would be paying out of pocket and again, she confirmed that that was it. So I paid the $25 by credit card, filled in the medical forms and had the scan done, all in about 15-20 minutes.
Three weeks later I received a bill showing the total amount of the scan at $772. Minus the $532.01 covered by my insurance and the $25 payment I made on the day of my scan, I was left with an out of pocket bill of $214.99. I called Papastavros' billing office right away to have that clarified. The lady I talked to told me that the $214.99 charge was valid and I had to pay it. I tried explaining to her what happened on that day but she would not listen, basically saying they are not responsible for what the front desk told me. She said there is nothing she can do for me, she was not even willing to look into the matter. I have a record of that phone conversation.Desired Settlement: I want the matter to be looked into to avoid other customers to be misinformed. I think it's unethical to give false information like that just to get a person to use a service. They should train their front desk personnel appropriately and hold the lady who gave me that information responsible. I think some kind of sanction should be taking against the business.
