Review: I hired Papaneri and Sons Concrete to take out and replace my driveway, pathway steps and some sidewalk in front of my house in July 2013. The job looks horrific. I have thick orange lines in the concrete since the day following the concrete pour. I alerted [redacted] the owner on the first day. He finally came out in September after I saw him in one of his trucks in a parking lot near my home. He said then that it looks bad and he would check out what could have happened. He was supposed to check with the concrete company or his men or whatever. I have yet to hear back from him. Bricks were knocked off of my house and despite many promises they were not replaced. My front brick facade has been left open for the entire winter freeze and spring thaw. I am now worried that the facade is loosened. The drain that was put in is a tripping hazard and very sloppily done. They are 2 areas where the spacers are up above the pathway causing a tripping hazard. There are also some areas that need to be trimmed or cut back. I sent [redacted], the owner, a letter detailing my many concerns with pictures documenting every complaint. I have yet to hear from him. ,Desired Settlement: I would like to have all of the orange striped concrete removed and replaced, my bricks replaced and the drain installed properly and the tripping hazards cut down. There are also some sloppy edges that need to be resolved.

Response:
We apologize for anyInconvenience, we are just coming out of a very LONG winter and goingthru personnel changes in the office. We are working towards a goal in that regards. As far as this job goes, we will not and cannot do anything about the coloring. We can have a crew come over and address the brick and facet issues if the customer would allow us to. Plz advise if that is acceptable to you and we will get you scheduled within the next 2 weeks. Thank you.
Review: I called the company on 7/23/13 and left a voice mail regarding a problem with the concrete the company poured at my residence....no response. I again called on 7/26/13 and left a voice mail....no response. I again called on 7/29/13 and spoke with secretary/receptionist [redacted] who said she would advise owner, [redacted] of my call and they would contact me. On 8/13/13, I sent a certified letter informing Papaneri Concrete of my three telephone calls to let them know that the concrete they poured is popping in spots and leaving holes. To date (8/22/13) I have not had a response from them. We paid over $3,000.00 for their services and are very disheartened that they have not even responded to our calls and letter.Desired Settlement: The receptionist mentioned to my husband that there may be a possibility that the concrete was a "bad patch".

Review: [redacted]
I spoke with [redacted] from Papaneri Concrete on 8/28/13 and she said she opened a file on our case and would be sitting down and reviewing the case with [redacted] on 8/29/13. It sounds as though things are moving forward but not yet resolved.
