Panera Bread #1571

Panera always has excellent coffee and food. They never disappoint about the taste of their Tomato Soup. I like this one here because it is very creamy and tasty. They also served salads and Sandwiches, which I recommend their Chicken Avocado Melt. The smokey flavor of the chicken and fresh avocado complement each other, which suits my taste buds.

Review: On Apr *, 2015 I purchased a Panera Bread Gift Card for $20 at their store # [redacted]ocated in New York City, NY. The transaction ID is [redacted]. I took the card home and put in my drawer until today, May [redacted] when I tried to use it in another local Panera Bread store. I was surprisingly told there was only 64 cents balance available on this card. I know there was fraudulent activities going on on this gift card but I tried to locate the transactions online. Unfortunately, their website [redacted] is down.

I called the customer service on gift card around 4:30pm ET on the same day (May [redacted]) and the representative is very unfriendly and even hung up on me when we were discussing how to contact their corporate office and fix the issue.

I have no choice but to issue a compliant here at Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of $20 on my purchase of this gift card.

I have the gift card, the original receipt and a gift card balance print out (back on Apr *) with me if they are needed as a proof. However, I will not trust Parena Bread again for anything like Gift Card, product or service.

Not only they did a lousy job on helping a customer in the case of fraudulent activities, the attitude of their customer service representative is worse than any other merchant I have ever done business with.
