Pampered Pets & People

We were concerned with finding a good pet and home sitter in the area after moving here in the fall of 2019. Patricia and Pampered Pets & People alleviated any concerns we had about finding a qualified pet sitter and is now our go-to for checking in on our home and cats when we are out of town. Patricia is easily the most professional pet/home sitter we've used over the years in various parts of the country but, more than that, she cares deeply about the animals that she watches - in fact our two cats probably get more playtime with Patricia than us, lol! And we love getting pics of the cats when we're away - Patricia is awesome!

Ha! This thing is telling me there is a 10 word minimum. What I need to know is the maximum! So many great things to say about Pampered Pets and People (also known as Pampered Pooches Playground). After searching far and wide for a place to leave our 10 month old puppy while away on a 10 day vacation, I finally came across PPP. This place is Doggy Disney World! Actually, we looked into taking our pup to the kennel they have at Disney but once I found PPP, I knew he would love this far more than what even the Disney Kennel offered.
First of all, she has NO KENNELS! The pups who come just to play or even to stay for boarding are not kenneled during the day like they are at the vast majority of other kennels. Patricia (owner) has a massive fenced in area in Black Forest for the dogs to run and play to their heart's content. Then, when they need a break or are done for the day, they are welcome to come inside and hang out in the pet friendly living room with the family! In the evenings, our pup even got to sit and watch a movies with the family!
Patricia knew that we were not exactly excited to be away from our pup for 10 days so she went the extra mile and sent us multiple pictures and even several videos of our Brecken having the time of his life! It really put our kids' minds at ease to know how much fun he was having. Watching videos or seeing pictures of our little guy was a great way to end the day and only confirmed our belief that we had hit the jackpot of pet sitters!
Also, Patricia has her own dog named Nala and our Brecken loved Nala! She is such a sweet dog really seemed to take him under her wing so to speak and was so patient putting up with all of his puppy antics. They looked like they were having a ball together!
I can't recommend Patricia and Pampered Pooches Playground enough! We will definitely be looking to them whenever we can't have our little guy by our side or even when we just think he needs a day away to play with other pooches! Check out the other reviews! They are all over the internet and all 5 stars! We now know why! What more could you ask for?

We have relied upon Pampered Pets and People to care for our dog while traveling for more than a year now. They are always very responsive to us as clients and most of all have taken our 3 your old (very active) Weimaraner in as their own. She loves to visit! I would highly recommend.

We were worried about a long term stay for our dog but Patricia always took such great care of Polly that we need not have worried at all. We were kept informed with text and photos. It was as if Polly had gone to a luxury dog spa! Patricia is so professional and well informed. Thanks!

What an amazing experience every time we've used Patricia's business. I'm the kind of dog owner that has literally walked away from prospective boarders just from following my gut instinct within a few seconds that they won't be a good fit for my dog. I'm immensely thankful for the peace of mind that leaving Duke at Patricia's provides because I know he's well taken care of, loved, and mentally/physically engaged. It's so incredibly telling that he is so happy to arrive at her place and goes inside willingly. With previous boarding situations, he clearly knew what was going on and wanted no part in it. The local doggy day cares and boarding facilities are no competition for the amazing value you get with Pampered Pets & People LLC. Patricia has been absolutely wonderful with our 2 cats! She is detailed in her interview process and really has taken time in each visit to get to know our fur babies. We are so happy to have PP&P as our go to for cat care. We get pictures and feedback with each visit and feel so much better when we are gone that she is here. We absolutely love and trust the folks at pampered pooches playground! It is so wonderful to not have to worry about your dog while away on a trip. Patricia provides a safe, fun, and exciting place for your pooch to play and relax all in the comforts of her own spacious home! This is a great place to take your dog for daycare or boarding. Patricia is a very caring individual who knows and loves dogs. Our older dog does not do well in a typical boarding situation, she gets anxious and homesick.. After a few days, she seemed to adjust much better than at other places with Patricia's caring attitude and homey atmosphere she provides for the dogs.

Wonderful place to have my dog stay when I have to travel. No kennels or cages. Great playground outside. We jokingly refer to it as Buddy's vacation home. Patricia and crew are wonderful with the animals and my dog can hardly contain himself when we get there he is so excited. This last visit I was chatting with Patricia and Buddy just nosed the door open to get inside. He couldn't wait.

We recently got a dog and our son, who boards his dog with Patricia, recommended we check out Pampered Pets and People On first meeting Miss Patricia we were impressed with her professionalism, knowledge and love of animals. We knew our dog would be in a loving home environment. Since our first meeting with Patricia we have used Pampered Pets and People several times for both boarding and day care.
We recently had a medical emergency in the family and Patricia was able to take care of our dog with short notice and for this we are eternally grateful that she and her husband were there for us.
Whenever we drop off or pick up our dog she is always in good spirits and it is obvious that she loves Miss Patricia and her husband.
Whenever we leave our dog we know she is get the best loving care. Patricia also keeps us update with photos and updates of our fur baby. She understands animals, loves animals, is knowledgeable about animal behaviors. She is a TREASURE.

We are always very comfortable when leaving our dog with Pampered Pets & People. Our dog is always happy to go and see "Miss Patricia".

When we leave our pup at Pampered Pets & People, whether for the day or the weekend, I know he is happy, safe, and loved. He is treated with kindness and discipline. He is always learning something and having fun. When we pick him up he is only mildly glad to see us. I highly recommend them!

Patricia at Pampered Pets and People is AMAZING! We have been looking for the perfect fit for our 18-month-old Portuguese Water Dog, Tigger. We didn't want a large kennel or ranch; we were looking for a home away from home. We just got back from our first two-night overnight and he had a GREAT time! I also appreciate the photos Patricia sends, and she is VERY responsive to texts. I'd give her 10 stars if I could!

Patricia and Oliver treat our sweet, funny Mora (soft-coated Wheaten Terrier) as one of their own. Mora receives incredible play time in their huge play space outside, tons of love and attention, and classical nap time for each of her visits. She is also taken care of very well with her nutrition and allergy medications. We can leave her with no worries and know she will be taken care of as if she was with us. Only more play pals and play time.

All of our experiences with Patricia have been phenomenal. We have brought our pup to her for many days of play and several times for "boarding". Between the constant play, naps, snugs, individual care, no dirty or noisy kennels, he comes home happy and tired every time. This most recent time while we were away, he had a health issue and she kept us updated and coordinated a vet visit for him while we were out of the country. I absolutely would not trust anyone else with our pup besides Patricia!

This business is not just a business. They are a loving, professional, rewarding experience for the furry member of your family. Patricia and Oliver treat your pet as you do. With love, kindly and stern discipline when needed, tons of play time, and is well fed rest. They have a classical music time for nap time. Every dog even if it doesn't sleep will find it's place to snuggle for a rest while classical music is played. They consider your pets' emotional, psychological and physical needs. Then they meet or exceed them. Everyone should have a Pampered Pets for their fur family member.

The best dog sitter ever!

Patricia offers the most amazing kennel free day care and boarding we have ever experienced. She takes the time to know every animal that walks through her door. Her knowledge and experience are invaluable. We just left our two dogs with her for a long weekend and I have to say it was the first time we left our dogs with someone and we didn't worry if all was well. We would not take our dogs anywhere else. Patricia sent us pictures and updates while we were gone. She treats all the pups like they were her own. I highly recommend Pampered Pets for day care and boarding.

Another successful doggy day care! As usually, my pup enjoys his time at Pampered Pet and People. He has so much energy and I love bringing him there because they have so many obstacle courses for their furry friends to run and play. I especially enjoy receiving pictures of him having a blast with other furry friends. I highly recommend bringing your dog for doggy day care and boarding. They treat all their dogs like family and are never kenneled.
