I received the Revdex.com complaint lette* today in regards to the damaged trestle table and chairs shipped to [redacted]. All information stated is correct. I spoke with [redacted] about the defective furniture that was shipped to he* and contacted the supplie* about these problems....
This product is an original [redacted] seating and table design. It was an import product that was shipped in containers, off loaded, and then shipped by purchase orde* to each restaurant location. The product design has changed recently so we are still selling the last stock from the original design; however, I neve* see the product before it ships from the warehouse. [redacted] forwarded my office photos of the damages and I did tell he* I would get back in touch with her. I then came down with an intestinal virus last week and was out until today. I do not feel comfortable shipping replacement product in fea* that it will be 2nd quality again. I am refunding Mrs. [redacted] he* full amount of $1065.30 to he* credit card today. You can discard the defective chairs and table as you see fit. I am very sorry fo* this occurrence. Thank You, Pam Ellis
Review: 03/02/15 - Inquired about trestle table and chairs with merchant. [redacted] (cust rep) said she would email a purchase orde* form to place the order. 03/08: Sent email to merchant stating we had not received the orde* form. 03/11: Sent a 2nd email request fo* orde* blank. Reply from [redacted]: She had been workin on a project. She would email the P.O.that day which she did. I completed the form and emailed back on same day. Payment required in advance by merchant. 03/12: The cost of the furniture was charged to ou* credit card account. On same day merchant confirmed via email that orde* had been entered and would be able to find out delivery time by end of following week. 03/20: Merchant confirmed via email furniture expected to ship Week of 4-2-15. Furniture was delivered 03/25 at which time we emailed merchant indicating that we would inspect the furniture fo* any flaws. From 03/27 to 04/07/15, I emailed about numerous pictures that my husband took reflecting flaws we found on both table and chairs. 04/07: I called [redacted]. Pam Ellis(owner)took the call because she told me she was now handling the problem. She indicated that she should hea* from warehouse that afternoon o* next day. 04/09: I called to speak with Pam Ellis and was told by both "[redacted]" and "[redacted]" that Pam was out sick and probably would not return to the office until Monday, 04/13. Neithe[redacted] no[redacted] could confirm current status of the pending matter.Desired Settlement: We are requesting a replacement of the broken chairs, and requesting a discount due to the othe* flaws we found on both the table and chairs.
