Palmilla Apartments

Review: I was looking for an apartment for my family and myself in January 2013. I was talking to the manager there and I signed the contract and gave the deposit to hold the apartment which is a total of 100.00. [redacted] the manager there asked for $200 that would be refunded if we didn't stay in the apartment. When the money was handed to her she did not want to give us a statement that said I would receive that money back. So my wife told her to sign the copy of the check that would state I'd get my money back. When I went to talk to [redacted] and I let her know that we were not going to move in and she told us that in four weeks we would receive that 200 dollars back and till this day we have not received any money. I have gone personally to talk to [redacted] but I have talked to different people. [redacted] avoids me as much as possible. My niece had the same problem she did not want to refund the money and [redacted] actually said if you keep on insisting I will call the "migra" because my niece didn't have papers to live in the U.S legally.Desired Settlement: I would just like my $200 back. I understand that the $100 was part of the contract and that, that money is not part of the refund. I'm just asking for my $200.
