Excellent experience, knowledgeable staff, quality vehicles.
Hi Terry, thank you very much for your business. We are glad we met and exceeded your expectations! We appreciate you taking the time to share your positive experience.
I purchased a 2015 *** van with less than 100,000kms on it for my business. Only 3 days after I picked it up, it left me stranded on the side of the road. I called Palmery immediately and they said that it was my responsibility to get it back to their shop to have it looked at. I live and work in Muskoka so to have it towed there is not reasonable, it would cost a fortune for a 2 hour drive! I then asked if I could have the paperwork for the last service it received, and surprise, they couldn't provide that. In the end, I took it to a *** dealership to get looked at to be safe (and because it was only 1 hour away). They fixed the engine problem and also changed the oil, something that probably wasn't done properly by palmery. I lost 2 days work and had a $3,500 bill in the end. So if you're thinking of buying here, make sure you don't live far and that you get proper paperwork for oil changes. The worst part is that they are not even returning my emails to address the issue.
We are sorry to hear you ultimately chose going your own way in dealing with what it seemed to be a minor problem (engine oil level high). The vehicle was properly inspected as per Ontario Safety Standards and did pass the inspection. The vehicle was in perfect working condition when you picked up the vehicle. Sometimes issues do happen, we happily offered you to bring back the vehicle for us to help you with the issue you had but declined.
We have been selling *** and *** vehicles since they arrived in Canada in 2004 plus all other cargo vans and commercial trucks on the market for many years.
Well your customers should probably start lowering their expectations because asking a customer (that purchased a vehicle 2 days prior) to have their vehicle flat bed towed for over 2 hours, and not agreeing to pay for any of it totally unreasonable. It would have cost over $1000 for the tow alone!! Not to mention lost time at work because of this, and then having to drive another half day for pick up. You should better service your customers by having other garages (of your choosing) closer by to them as an option. Terribly disappointed with the service and lack of even trying to make this better, or offer an apology for that matter.
