Review: The contract that we had with Palmer Construction was not followed. Our cement patio turned out very bad. [redacted] took payment from us and promised a crew to our house the next day to fix our concerns. No one came or called. We tried contacting him for a two straight weeks before putting a hold on our credit card. He then answered our call and said he was sick so he couldn't send anyone out and he would get in touch with us later in the week. We continued to attempt to reach him (emails, calls, texts) he never would answer. In October we threatened to fill a small claims suit and he came out to the house to meet with my husband, my dad and myself. He agreed to charging $1500 instead of the original amount due to not following the contract and the damages done to our house. We drafted an amended contract and sent it to him but he didn't sign it's for a few months. In January he told us he was broke and intends to pay us but he doesn't have money. He said taking him to court wouldn't solve anything because he doesn't have any money to give us even if the judgement comes out in our favor. He told us he would make payments to us and once again refuses to answers calls, emails, or texts. This issue has been going on since July of 2014. We have made numerous attempts to reach out to him and for him to make good on his word.Desired Settlement: [redacted] owes us $2900. as agreed in our signed contracted dated 11/2/14 by the customers and dated 12/30/14 by [redacted].
