April 30, 2018 My television stopped working. I called Palm & Shields TV Service and they sent someone to my home to pick up the TV for an $80.00 charge. I was told that they would take a couple of days to fix and return it. I checked back with them on May 4th and was told that the LED Strip was out and he ordered one from Tennessee, It would take 6 days to get it in the mail. He told me it would cost $280.00 to repair. I agreed. I went back on May 10th and was told that they received a defective LED Strip and it caused the entire pannel to go out. He told me that it would cost more to fix that the TV is worth.I instructed them to fix it, they broke it. He said he would order another LED Strip. I returned and he put in a new LED strip but did not fix what the defective part broke, and that I could take the TV and would not be charged. He was not going to fix the TV. I expect him to fix the TV or pay another repair person for the TV to be fixed, or pay me a fair market price for the TV which is only
2.5 years old 55 or 60 inch whcih cost me $1300.00 at Ventura TV here in Fresno.
I brought in a *** monitor for repair. They required a 30.00 deposit. They kept telling me they were waiting for parts. More than a year went by. I went to collect my monitor and they said they can't find it. I gave them a week and went back, and now they say they have lost my 2400.00 Monitor. and they are not responsable for items left over 30 days. this is unacceptable. Tere are other complaints about this business. on line. Please take there license away.

On November 11th of 2016, *** brought in an Apple monitor that he got a yard sale to have repaired. It was explained that there would be a $30.00 estimate charge at the time of opening a repair order. Mr. said he did not have 30.00 and would be back to pay the estimate charge, leaving the monitor with us. The following week, Mr. called to see if we had checked the monitor and I told him we were still waiting for him to pay the estimate charge of $30.00, he said he would be back to pay the charge. Mr. called a few weeks ago, one and a halt years after the fact, to see if we still had the monitor because he wanted to sell it. I told him the unit had been recycled and that we are not responsible for merchandise left over 30 days. There is a statement printed on the work,order that Mr. signed and received a copy of that clearly explains that we are not responsible for merchandise left over 30 days. We are an electronic repair shop, we are not a warehouse that stores abandoned merchandise, especially for over a year. After not receiving notice or payment from Mr. for several months, we were forced to recycle the unit. Thank you, *** Palm & Shields TV Service
