Review: Hired this company to replace a brick wall with a Versa-lok block wall and new concrete sidewalk to the front door; work started Oct. 5, 2015 and is not completed to date. At the end of the driveway are two pillars that need caps to match the blocks. The contractor left a pallet with 246 bricks on it. We carried the bricks inside the basement because of the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays we did not want these to be left on the driveway. The pallet still needs removed. We need to use a snow blower and the pallet is in the way causing us to go around it. I have phoned the owner at least once a week for the past twelve weeks asking him to complete the job and no one shows up. The workers removed siding from our front porch area due to the new sidewalk. No one called us to tell us the siding was being removed until they did it. It was not in the contract to touch the siding. Now we have to hire a siding company to reinstall the siding causing additional money to be spent. The siding and trim work is damaged and cannot be reused. The contractor was paid 1/2 down at the start of the job and 1/2 down in October, 2015. He promised us he would be back to complete the work.Desired Settlement: Finish the job as promised.
Review: Paladina landscaping provided our trees/ plants last July 3, 2015. When they were planted, we were told that there was a one year guarantee on all items.
On July 14, 2015, two weeks after planting, I notified the owner, Matt P[redacted], that the dogwood tree planted in the front yard had its leaves turn orange and drop, and sent him a picture. He came out to look at the tree and said that if it did not return in the spring, he would replace it.
This spring, on April 26, 2016, I sent Matt another message letting him know that the tree did not return and asked him to replace it. The next day, he messaged back saying that he would send a crew "next week." The crew never arrived.
On May 10, 2016, I sent him another message. He responded that they would be there on "Sunday." On Sunday, the crew never came.
I messaged Matt again on May 16th and May 23rd without response.Desired Settlement: I would like the dogwood tree in the front bed replaced with one that is alive and stays alive for more than 2 weeks.
