Pack & Load Services is far and away and the worst moving company I have ever hiredThree individuals showed up in a rented U-Haul Oct26, 2017, and spent hours before completing the moveFrom previous experiences, they should have accomplished this job in less than hoursThe meter must have been running because the final bill to move minutes away was more than $2, Then when I sought restitution for some items that were lost during the move ($cost to replace the missing items), the company ignored three different calls before finally advising me that I would have to file a police report I am not seeking prosecutionI am seeking to be compensated for items lostSome faith this company has in its employees to have them named in a police report It was a rude experience dealing with customer service and the operations manager who would rather blow the whistle on its own employees or contractors than make the customer happyBest thing would be to pay for the cost of replacing lost items and correct any problems internally; I will never use Pack & Load Services, IncagainShould have chosen local moves in the first place Don't make the same mistake I did

Misrepresented their services - Over charged I hired PLS to pack a POD for storage based on a recommendation from PODS website I spoke with a sales person who said they specialize in loading podsThey promised to send professional movers with tie downs, shrink wrap and disposable blankets that I would be charged for to pack my POD They sent two college kids with little experience and unprepared They came without tools to take apart beds, they came without any shrink wrap to hold drawers in place or secure my furniture The "blankets" were thin paper that without shrink wrap just slid off the furniture I supplied them with Mattress Bags and they carried the mattresses to the dirty garage floor to put the mattress into the bag They were not professional movers they spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to move stuff and what to do and I was charged extra because they went over hours I called the corporate office as soon as I realized they were ill equipped and unp
As with many unsuspecting customers (people), reporting to the Revdex.com, I want to help point a spotlight on the Pack & Load and warn others to just what type of company these people areThey are not concerned with building a reputable company with values, ethics, and morals No, instead they work in the shadows, never to be seen or to deal with public face to face because they have no integrity or concern for anything besides how to scam the next unsuspecting person out of there money In our case, my wife hired Pack & Load, to load a pod for us on an upcoming move we had planned several weeks in advanceThat night, once I learned what they were charging to do our work, we quoted with a local company that provides the same service and found the cost to be less than half of what we were being charged from Pack & Load Furthermore, we learned that Pack & Load, not being a company within our city or state, merely hires day laborer's to show up at our door I called Pack & Load back within one day and canceled our move with them and was issued an invoice with a zero balanceA few days later, we learned that our card had been billed a cancellation fee I called Pack & Load back and was told that because we signed agreeing to the fee, they were entitled to take our money So here is where ethics come into play and speaks volumes about the type of company Pack & Load are and the reputation they are building Yes we did sign the document and legally Pack & Load can take our money as they did, but when we canceled just one day after and weeks in advance of the move, we know they have not called and scheduled the day laborers just yet, nor is anyone out anything because we canceled It's only an unscrupulous company without ethics or morals that will feel good about taking money from people for doing nothing
