Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The company claims that "the bill was sent to her around 07/07/17" but in actuality, I had to email the Pacific Utility Company and the building management on July 17th because they did not send it There was an error on the bill, and the company emailed me a random amount of $without sending a corrected bill The closest number on the bill that was received was $to which I added the service fee of $and subtracted the $e-bill discount Because they did not send an itemized corrected bill, I do not feel the payment should trigger a late fee Today (August 1, 2017) is the due date for the bill, and they have had opportunities before this due date to send a corrected bill by hard copy or email Upon speaking with other tenants, they have said they did not receive their bills as well A podiatrist office had also signed up for electronic billing and a hair salon has hard copy bills sent and both of these tenants also have had issues with getting their bills in a timely manner Therefore, I feel it is not likely that each tenant is having difficulty with receiving their bill, but rather it is more likely the fault of the Pacific Utility company for not sending their bills out in a timely manner We have never had a employee of Pacific Utility Company come into our unit to read a meter To my knowledge, we do not have a meter in our office Therefore, this excuse cannot justify why the bills cannot be generated on a monthly basis.Sincerely, [redacted]
Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:1. The company claims that "the bill was sent to her around 07/07/17" but in actuality, I had to email the Pacific Utility Company and the building management on July 17th because they did not send it. There was an error on the bill, and the company emailed me a random amount of $284.78 without sending a corrected bill. The closest number on the bill that was received was $277.23 to which I added the service fee of $7.50 and subtracted the $2.50 e-bill discount. Because they did not send an itemized corrected bill, I do not feel the payment should trigger a late fee. Today (August 1, 2017) is the due date for the bill, and they have had opportunities before this due date to send a corrected bill by hard copy or email.2. Upon speaking with other tenants, they have said they did not receive their bills as well. A podiatrist office had also signed up for electronic billing and a hair salon has hard copy bills sent and both of these tenants also have had issues with getting their bills in a timely manner. Therefore, I feel it is not likely that each tenant is having difficulty with receiving their bill, but rather it is more likely the fault of the Pacific Utility company for not sending their bills out in a timely manner. We have never had a employee of Pacific Utility Company come into our unit to read a meter. To my knowledge, we do not have a meter in our office. Therefore, this excuse cannot justify why the bills cannot be generated on a monthly basis.Sincerely,[redacted]
