Subject: compalint #***, please re-openIn regard to the business's reply: They are correct in saying I've been a patient for years or moreFrom the beginning, *** *** accepted what my insurance allowedThis resulted in no co-pay for meIt almost sound like I wasn't a patient there for awhileI was, although I rarely saw *** *** I wasn't informed of his retirement, OR of their policy changeI was told, however, when I came in to get a new face mask or equipment, that there was now a co-payment for that, which I always paid. Regarding the sleep study, the main thing that relates to me, is the large co-payment that I was not advised of before the studyIt may not be much to them, but $is a substantial sum to me, when my income is so smallThey also did not give me proper instructions prior to the study, which resulted in it not providing the information for which it was ordered(just one more reason I believe I should not have to pay the co-payment) However, it seems as if it should be illegal, (if it isn't), for them not to inform me of there being a large co-payment prior to the study, or even office visits, since for ten years, there had not been anyIf it isn't illegal, it should beAt best, it is inept and inconsiderate office practices
