Hired Pacific Bath to convert existing shower to a Koehler walk in shower.
Project would require the removal of the exisiting shower and tub which is
attached to the shower. No way to remove the shower without damaging the tub. Sales rep indicated they only replace the shower but then agreed to quote the extra labor to also remove the tub. Which was to Repair or replace any drywall, cap off existing tub water supply and drains, add floor tile to slab where the tub used to be (tile supplied by homeowner).
They started project on time but it required a couple days extra time to accommodate the additional work. Quoted 26K +. They completed the shower conversion and extra work, except for the glass panel installation that was specified. (Which was to include a glass panel on top of the newly added pony wall and second glass panel to complete the fourth side of the shower. They collected the full second payment due from Greensky Financial, the company that provided the line of credit for the project. This payment was only suppose to be due after completion of the project. The glass has not been installed more than a week after
the rest of the shower install. Contacted the office three times and could not get a firm date for installation. Sent email to the office manager, no reply. Had to hire a third company to do the installation and will have to go to small claims court to regain losses. Used this company, even though quote was 25% above next lowest bid, because it claimed to be a Koehler approved partner. Hope Koehler is proud of them.
