Through conversations with the repair shop it was determined the cause of the damage to the engine was lack of routine maintenance. Routine maintenance is the responsibility of the vehicle owner, as is common with nearly all dealerships. In an attempt to help the customer we paid for the initial repair and the new engine and put her on a payment plan so she could pay us back over time. We are not willing to make further concessions at this time.

to answer any questions; a postcard with PAACO’s toll-free phone number is mailed out too. On Jan 5, 2017, this customer financed a used 2008 Chrysler Sebring with 75,110 miles from PAACO in Temple. The used vehicle has a Limited Powertrain Warranty for 3 months / 3,000 miles (whichever comes first). The customer is asking to get her car repaired, or to get a refund, or to be traded into another vehicle. One Warranty repair has already been completed. A second repair estimate is not covered by the Warranty program. However, as a gesture of good service for a new customer, PAACO will cover the costs of the second repair. The Sales Manager will call the customer and let her know. We thank you for the opportunity to reply to the complaint. BTS Motors LLC dba PAACO believes our good standing with the Revdex.com is only strengthened by our ability to respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.

difficulties. By offering payment extensions, moving a payment to the end of the car note or offering to store a vehicle until the customer is able to bring their account current are a few ways a repossession can be avoided. This customer signed a Retail Installment Sales Contact on 4/8/16, agreeing to make $100 payments every week. By July and August, he fell behind in his payments; when he contacted the Revdex.com, he was $600 behind on his account. To help out the customer, the Collections Dept set an arrangement for him to pay $300 by 10/28, instead of asking for the entire $600 past due at one time. On 10/26, the customer called in and only wanted to pay $100 instead of $300. When advised of the $300 arrangement, the customer used profanity, said he would not pay $300 and hung up. He called back on 10/27 and said he can only pay $150; when reminded that help had been extended already, he hung up. On 10/28, the customer called in to make his payment; the Collections Dept listened when he explained that he couldn’t pay $300 because his paycheck was short and granted him a partial extension. The customer can resume his $100 weekly payment schedule once all past due amounts have been paid. Thank you for the chance to reply.

and finance quality used motor vehicles. There is a limited “6-month / 6,000-mile warranty” (whichever comes first) on financed vehicles, but that warranty does not cover what is referred to as normal wear and tear or maintenance services such as oil changes. In addition, Texas Lemon Laws apply to repeated warranty repairs on new vehicles only, not to used vehicles. When notified about the Revdex.com complaint, the Waco Sales Manager called the customer last week and reached a mutually beneficial agreement. Instead of just handing the customer a check for the disputed amount, PAACO will pay for repairs to be made at a local automotive shop. The customer is happy and accepts PAACO’s resolution to his complaint. Again, we thank you for the opportunity to respond to this customer’s concern.
