Please accept my email in response to the complaint #[redacted] from Ms. [redacted].
I first am a bit taken back by written complaint as she has no direct business with my firm – instead I am simply a claim processor for the contract made between Ms. [redacted] with [redacted] an agent for [redacted].
I processed her claim under the [redacted] contract allowances which allows a maximum of $100 per pound per article unless the customer
1 Identifies the item prior to movement as a High Valued Inventory AND
2 When making claim provides amount “supported by proof of value”
This proof is original paid receipt or certified appraisal which after multiple attempts was NOT produced.
Finally, I want to clearly clarify the claim of the vase reads
Number 68 “Tiffany Vase” Purchased in December 2011 and claimed $350.00
NOT 2 vases. AND with no substantiation (supported proof) we could make no reconsideration. She finally was offered an opportunity to binding neutral arbitration but this too would require her support of value.
I welcome any other questions or concerns but once again I have no contract or avenue of business directly with Ms. [redacted] – instead the settlement and allowances was made on [redacted] letterhead, for [redacted] an agent for [redacted].
