P H C Lift Chairs

We purchased this lift chair for my husband. It was delivered in July. The upholestry was not fully sewn. They sent representative to repair and this resulted in more issues. The representative was poorely dressed and he had a helper to do all the work. It took 2 1/2 hours to replace the arms. The chair now sound like wood is rubbing against wood and it creeks every time my husband uses it to raise up to standing position or lowers to sitting or reclining position. Last week it sounded like a piece of wood split in two. They want to send the same representative to my house and I refused because of his previous visit. They claim that they do NOT have another representative in the area to see the chair and they CANNOT say when they will have a representative. We paid $745.00 for the chair which was the balance after Medicare paid for the lift part of the chair. My husband needs this for health reasons because of blood clots in his legs and the doctors say he needs to keep the legs elevated higher than his heart. The first chair was replaced on 8/21/13 and this is the second chair that we are having problems with.
