Review: Door replacement job was left unfinished. Several attempts to contact P. C. Companies LLC in order to complete the job have gone unanswered.
We hired P. C. Companies LLC ([redacted]), on January 11, 2013 to replace a door going from our kitchen to the garage. Within several weeks after the job was completed, the new door developed a crack due to workmanship issues. We contacted [redacted] to have him repair the door. He eventually came to replace the panel that had broken, however he has not finished the job as he has not returned to stain the replaced panel to match the rest of the door. Additionally the door will swing open when wind passes through, so it was not hung properly. Both of these issues are unacceptable.
[redacted] had promised, at a time when he would communicate with us, that he would complete the remaining work (staining, etc) by the end of the summer. My wife and I have tried to contact him to schedule the remaining work, for which we have already paid. We have left several voice messages on his business phone without any reply for the past few months. We paid, in total, $3384 for [redacted]'s work, both for the door replacement and for a bathroom fan installation. An initial deposit for the work was made on 1/11/13 and final payment was made on 3/4/13. Desired Settlement: Because the job was not completed as hired, and I have been unable to get P. C. Companies LLC to finish the job, I would like P. C. Companies LLC ([redacted]) to refund the amount paid for the door of $2429. We are not asking for a refund for the work done on the bathroom ventilation fan.
