On August 10, the customer , [redacted] came into my salon and presented her gift certificate .one of my employees told the customer that we could not accept the certificate since it had been issued by a previous ownerWhen I became aware of the situation I guickly discussed the problem with my employees, since we are Vietnamese it was easier and quicker to speak about the problem in our native languageNo disrespect was meant to Ms [redacted] I offered to accept the certificate at half its value since I had not issued it or been paid for it.Ms [redacted] became very loud and angry and insisted that I give her the value of the whole certificateShe also insisted that I give her on immediate service even though she did not have an appointmentI explained that I was busy with another customer and that Ms [redacted] would have to wait for a short timeMs ***,again became very angry and was shouting as she stormed out the door There is no employee or owner named "Sunday" working at our salonMs [redacted] had picked up a brochure still left from the previous owner I will happily refund Ms [redacted] $by mailing her a check within the next few days This problem seems to have been caused by miscommunication, rather than our willingness to provide good service Sincerely [redacted]
