Review: Transmission converter needed to be replaced. Service station did repair on 9/19/13 for $703.00, which included trans filter kit and 5 quarts of ATF4. One week later, I stopped at serviced station because trans was slipping. I was told transmission fluid was down 3/4 quart and that it is common to have to add trans fluid after it's been worked on. The following week, my husband checked the trans fluid and it was down another quart. He also saw the fluid leaking all over the trans pan and fixed it. He discovered there was never a gasket put on the trans pan to make it seal. The service station only put RTV silicon as a sealer. I called the Service Station the next day and [redacted], one of the owners, said he would refund us the $50.00 we had to pay to fix the trans fluid leak. Unfortunately, the Service Station also left the dust cover for the transmission bent open, so all debris could get in. My husband was livid at this point and spent 2 hours heating and bending the dust cover back where it belongs. It is very frustrating to have more problems with our vehicle after it was serviced, then we initially took it in for. More frustrating is to be told that we would be compensated for these problems, yet [redacted] has not kept his word.Desired Settlement: When I called [redacted], he told me to give him until the end of the day about the refund; however, I never heard back from him. After a week, I followed up with him via email - but never heard back from him. We would like the $50.00 to fix the trans fluid leak and compensation for the time spent fixing the dust cover.
