OYO Townhouse Penn Square

On the night of 03/31/2020 around 11pm, I checked into what I thought was *** as the sign outside said it was. However, as I was checking in, the manager let me know OYO had bought this particular hotel. Approximately, 45 minutes after checking into the room, when we pulled back the covers on the bed, there was a bed bug. We immediately called the desk and made the clerk aware we were headed back to the desk for refund as we were not staying in such an unsanitary place. When I got to the desk, the manager, ***, was very apologetic and said that I would be refunded onto my credit card. *** went to the room and saw the bed bug as well. The following day, *** sent me an email saying that the refund was being approved. I thanked him for how he had handled the situation, as I believed him that they refunded me. I contacted *** again on 05/05/2020 after I received my credit card statement and found there was still no refund. I emailed *** to which he responded with apologies. I then called him and he referred me to yet another email address saying it would be taken care of. Now, I have received 3 calls from a foreign individual stating they are from OYO, and that I need to give them a *** acct number or a VENMO acct number for the refund. *** assured me these calls are legitimate and are truly from OYO. 05/10/2020, another call at 9:39 pm came from the same individual, and now he says he is sending me a link via text to my cell phone, and to click for my refund. I told this man that I paid via credit card and that is how I should be refunded, and he said that I will just not get the refund if I do not click a link he will text to me or give him a *** acct number. This company has proven to not only be unsanitary, but to operate very unprofessionally as well. I just want my refund that is owed in the amount of 97.01
