Before my wife and I booked with this hotel we made contact to ask (2)two specific questions which would determine us booking with Days Inn on Gwenadele ave in Baton Rouge, La.
1.Does your bathtubs allow you to take baths in the sense that it has a stopper to plug the water so does it fully accommodate bath taking? upon which we were told YES by the girl on the phone.
2. Do you have a full hot breakfast and what comes on it'
we were told YES and eggs, omelets, bacon, sausage, etc..
several days later we decided to book with the hotel. Upon check in My wife asked a woman named *** about the bathtub she claimed she didn't know the answer and would call her manager she did. She told us then that she was told yes all of the rooms have stoppers and your able to take a bath upon check in since my wife is 9 months pregnant and waddles when she walks we requested a downstairs room at first we were given one. We we arrived to our room and my wife went to bathe there was NO Stopper , the tub didn't stop the water at all. So we made contact via phone. ebony then stated there was nothing she could do we then reminded her how we called days before to see if the room would be adequate for us and then before we checked in we asked her at the desk and she put us in a room that didn't accommodate us! we asked to immediately speak to the owner who was the Indian guy in the front that walked off after we were at the front desk a while we were not allowed to speak to him. She then proceeded to ask us to hang on and she called someone an told them my wife cussed her, we were rude and so on and on which was not the case although we both were highly frustrated. So we went down stairs to ask for a key when we got there ebony was on the phone with someone she said was her manager *** and handed the phone to my wife *** then told my wife we would not be getting a refund (we never asked for one) , and she said we would not be changing rooms after this either then she cussed my wife and my wife hung up.

Desired Outcome

Other (requires explanation) I want compensation for the lies we were told. I also want an apology from crytal who cussed and hollered and screamed at us this is not proper customer service. the room did not even have wash cloths in it, They did not have a hot breakfast there was yogurt in a bowl not cooled and apples coffee and stale cereal and packets of oatmeal for the breakfast! Also they gave us a room upstairs and refused to change rooms to be spiteful to us knowing my wife was 9 months pregnant and what we requested.

I am sorry you were not happy with your recent stay at our property the upstairs room we gave you was not in spite we were under reservation and that was all we had available. I would like to apologize to your wife about the conversation on the phone with myself I would also like to offer you a complementary night
