Pt stated his insurance company paid Owensboro Dermatology Assoc (ODA)on his dates-of-service that he had paid out-of-pocket and we (ODA) owed him a refund as a resultHe was told it would take apprx weeks for the refund to process and months pastWe (ODA) have mailed via certified letter Mr *** his refund checkThis was mailed out ODA had an excessive amount of patient refunds to process, therefore, creating the delayOur business office discussed processing refunds more often to avoid a back log developing
