Owens Industries machined and QA checked a safety critical component necessary for US Navy flight operations. Tolerances for this item are very tight and the difficulty to manufacture is also very high. Owens Industries was able to produce this difficult item that exceeded these specifications. In addition, the extra steps taken toward the mechanical finishing, deburring, and even packaging these items is evidence of a top-notch organization. An experienced Governemnet Quality Inspector commented “I haven’t seen this quality workmanship in decades.” Another comment from a Senior Mechanical Engineer: “The finest machining I’ve ever seen.”
