Wow! OVM Financial was amazing! As a first time house buyer- they were amazing at making sure I understood what was happening and where I was in the process. They have an amazing personal connection with everyone they work with. Their email response rate was freakishly fast- even on the weekend. I'm so happy with the entirety of my experience.

I had a less than stellar experience with OVM financials. The constant lack of communication and answers made my first home buying experience absolutely miserable. You can send a list of questions and expect a response in 3-4 days. They don't explain the mortgage loan process very clearly, and what's worse is that they don't seem to be well versed in how to deal with Military families. When you're overseas, communication is VITAL. Weeks on end without any word is crippling. They forgot to calculate the down payment 3 days before closing. THREE DAYS. We asked for that information weeks beforehand, but the employees (Scott *** is a coward and won't respond to you. My real estate agent had to handle most of the number crunching for me, and isn't that OVM's job in the first place? Their website is a mess, they don't send documents on time. This is a MORTGAGE, people! Isn't this important? Horrible experience. I do not recommend. Military families, STAY AWAY.
