I went into Overland Optical on 09/04/18 to repair a scratch on one of my lenses. I paid for the repair then the representative told me that I should have my lense by Friday 09/07/18 or no later than 09/10/18. I called on 09/11/18 because I did not hear from anyone about my repair. I spoke with a customer service representative who told me that I haven’t been there since April and that I am calling the wrong place. She repeatedly spoke over me without allowing me to explain. I then spoke with a supervisor and she told me the same thing that they do she an order in the system for a repair. I told her that I had my receipt and that I would be coming to show her. When I got there she told me that that processed my payment and created an invoice but the work order was never put in. So she put in the work order and told me it would be rushed. I still have do not have my repaired lenses nor have I heard anything from them.
Yes patient came to Overland Optical on 09/04 for a repair and unfortunitly it wasn't taken back to the lab. When the patient called on 9/11 the office manager took over the job and began the process of getting the patient taken care of. No the order wasn't put into the work order portion of our computer system but an invoice was created. Since we were unable to find anything in our system we thought that the patient maybe had dropped off her glasses at Overland Associate which is just at the other end of the street. We did ask the patient to bring in her reciept since we were unable to find anything. When she arrived the office manager saw that the patient had paid for just one lens to be remade so the office manager went ahead and had both lenses remade for the same price. The glasses were done by 09/17/2018 and we tried contacting the patient but the phone would not ring through so we were unable to contact the patient at that time. She did come in on 09/25/2018 to pick those glasses up. At this time the patient has her glasses and she did recieved free product for the incovience. Thanks Allie
