This is the worse company you could get a loan from, they never help when you have no money to make the payments, I cannot wait until I'm done paying my loan, costumer service is super rude they take advantage of people with poor credit, they partner with [redacted] center to sell overpriced cars to individuals with poor credit, your car will stop working by the time you are done paying your loan, I regret doing bussiness with Overland Bond I only have about months left with them and that will be the happiest day of my life I do not reccoment this company

They do not handle business accordingly. Their rules can change depending on what manager is in office.

Response from...

Overland Bond:
I apologize for the late response. We do not have the customer listed as "[redacted]" in our system; reason for the delay. The last name we have on the contract is [redacted]". Ms. [redacted]" already came in on 8/2/2014 with [redacted], the co-signer, to refinance the loan to change the terms on the contract to align with her payroll date which resolves her issues within the Revdex.com complaint. I personally assisted the [redacted] with the refinance to change the terms to their liking. If the customer still has any issues, have her call me directly so I can assist.
Best,

It appears as though the account was paid in full on 12/27/2013. The account will remain on the consumers credit report...

for seven years from date of last payment. Attached, you will find an excerpt from [redacted] as to the duration of closed trades appearing on a consumers credit report. The consumer can also go to www.ftc.gov to research more on this topic. Since this reporting is governed by the Federal Trade Commission; namely the FCRA, Overland Bond would not be able to remove the trade line per the consumers request unless the account was opened fraudulently. Also, you will find two ledgers for each respective consumer indicating the account is paid and closed. As far as the reporting of erroneous information, we do not show any other information on the credit report other than paid with a zero balance (see attached) for [redacted]. As far as [redacted] credit report goes, it looks like there is a need to make some changes to reflect true and accurate information. We will make those corrections within the next 7-10 days to mirror [redacted]'s credit report. The information should be updated before the end of June 2014. If the consumer has any questions or concerns, we welcome their call.

On 1/29/2015, Ms. [redacted] and I spoke about her past due account. I initially called to see how we can resolve her past due balance of $870.38. Ms. [redacted] indicated to me she is still unemployed, no income and has a 3rd party source...

helping her make payments. She mentioned to me that she spoke to a representative of Overland Bond and was promised a deferment of her past due. I checked the notes and didn't see a conversation recorded in the notes. She said she spoke to either [redacted] or [redacted] but couldn't remember exactly who or the date of the conversation and asked me to go back to the recordings.

Logistically, it would be impossible for us to listen to every phone conversation without a date, time or representative as we take thousands of calls a day. Ms. [redacted] indicated to me that she would be filing her taxes and getting a refund. I suggested to Ms. [redacted] to use her refund check to pay down her past due balance. She refused and said "why should I if I was promised a deferment?" I indicated to Ms. [redacted] Overland Bond does not do "debt forgiveness" and strongly suggested she use her income tax refund to pay towards the past due; she refused.

I advised Ms. [redacted] if she was not willing to work with Overland Bond, then there's not much more I can do for her. Ms. [redacted] advised me at that point she does not want the car and asked that we pick it up from her house then terminated the call. As far as a resolution for Ms. [redacted]'s situation, she does not have a way to pay for this vehicle and refuses to pay towards the past due with her refund check.

If Ms. [redacted] paid half of her past due in the amount of $435.19, as a courtesy, I would extend the remainder of the past due to the end of her loan provided that she continue to make regular biweekly contractual payments in the amount of $215.60 starting 2/13/2015. If she cannot do this, Overland Bond cannot sit idle while the vehicle steady depreciates in value. Have Ms. [redacted] call me if she would like to proceed with this offer.

I reviewed the complaint and ran an account review with [redacted] on 6/18/2014. From what [redacted] is reporting,...

the account shows up and has been marked as paid/was a charge-off. The file does appear on [redacted] end. Does Mr. [redacted] have a sample credit report we can see so we can further assist him? Sometimes when a dealer or other entity pulls a credit report through a reseller of credit info, not all the info appears. Have Mr. [redacted] contact me directly so I can assist him. Attached, you will find the info I obtained from [redacted] showing the account was paid.
